Yes that's great!

Maybe the crew never named it the Night's Revenge - that's the name the navy and civilians gave it after how it came out of the night and attacked ruthlessly, often targeting those who had wronged members of the crew? The crew themselves named it the Silent Sea?

Yeah that was the jist of the poem. ( Sorry for bad writing lol. )

The true name was always the Silent Sea, but it is like a myth. Think the black pearl in Pirate of the Caribbean.
It was like a myth, something you tell your children at night so they behave... but oh it was real.. it was very real.
Though, I believe the black pearl was the ships real name in that.

Different to that though, the ship earned its "name" from everyone else after it attacked several vessels in the night, and it was only ships that harbored known wife beaters, slave owners, things like that. Though the Nights Revenge isn't a true name. It is considered a thing of myth, an unholy thing that leaves a bad taste in the mouths of all that knew not it's true purpose...

The true name was Silent Sea.
Because those who gave it it's true name saw it not as this horrible thing that shouldn't be spoken of.. It was an escape. A thing that brought hope, that brought life, that brought them to the sea.. the silent vast sea that they loved.
The ship isn't bad.. it was called Silent Sea as a thing of beauty, not a thing of destruction as it was painted as by the naive.. the true name is meant to show it's beauty, it's worth.

The two names have different meanings entirely, but two sides. Like people at war believing two different things and seeing the other so differently.

Another thing I wanted to add.. The crew is all female. The world you are building is water based and has some "magic" elements. ( ugh.. magic xd ), but.. Sirens. I want Sirens SO badly. ( Mermaids, ect, have a deep liking for females and HATE men.. so........ Sirens plz )

How big of a lore do you want written if any..? My max normally is 10,000 words

You don't need to write any lore for this, but if you'd like to it would be amazing. Even what you have there is beautiful! Do you mind if I put this in the first post?

Not at all lol, and I believe my writing is garbage, I am not that good a writer compared to you.

All you have to do to get me to write lore is give me a world build, settings, characters, things like that.
( Is there mythical creatures? When did the army figure out the pirates were real? How long has the ship been running in years? Things like that and I can write for days. )

(also do you have a link to the old rp..? )

I added links to the old RP and signups on the first post.

As for everything else...
I think I decided it takes place in 1756.
The world is this universe, but there is a 'magical' aspect to it, like in POTC - not so much that there's fantasy-type stuff, but sirens and mermaids do exist. ((Much as I love the POTC Flying Dutchman, it won't physically appear here))
The pain characters, I guess, are Maxine and Honor? There's also Helen, Cecily, and Renee, who started everything, as well as whatever other characters you like from the old thing.
The navy's known about pirates for as long as anyone knows, but the Silence specifically? Let's say 1747, which gives us about 9 years. When the Silence was known as Lady Catherine, she was almost brand new, she was stolen on her maiden voyage. She's a three-masted ship, the front two rigged with square sails and the third fore-and-aft rigged, if you want to be specific. The sails are a dark navy to blend in at night.
What else would you like to know? I could go on but I don't want this to become a solid info dump.

I may be better at writing than you, but I don't feel as though I can give mine that same poetic, extremally intriguing feel you have. I just dump everything at you and simply tell you what's happening. You can show it in a way I can't manage to.
