Maxine is a charismatic, optimistic, sweet, and caring. She likes to make friends and keep them around. She is on the inside very hurt and scared of people at times. She is smart, and is great at keeping secrets as one may be able to find out in the future, and is amazing at lying. Though she is a great friend she isn't a trusting person to most though she will greet everyone with a smile. Even though she is troubled she tries to not let it show. She has flashbacks often and is sometimes too scared to let anyone close to her.
Maxine is also very motherly towards the younger crew members but trust me when I say when she needs to become strict she will be.

Backstory:
A story of misery and sadness. She doesn't tell anyone but alas, here is the story for those who may get to know her. Story might be triggering

Maxine was a happy girl with parents who treated her like a princess. She was a great student of a high up family to be married off to a handsome boy whom she had known since she was young. She loved to play in the meadows with him and knew his parents well. What she hadn't known till much later was that the father of her future husband liked her a little too much. One warm Sunday when she was 15, her parents and a group of other parents and kids went to the summer lake they loved and her best friends father asked her to come check something out with him. Poor nave Maxine followed the man into one of the cabins that were there... and he took advantage of poor Maxine. The rest of the day went on as normal as did many other days and times this happened to her. Soon she was home with her parents. She lied telling them she felt tired and went into her room sobbing from what had happened to her. A few months later her and her parents had found she was pregnant and she was kicked from the house expecting, poor, and now disowned from all of her family. She did anything she needed to do to survive and hoped for her child to be born healthy for she did not blame them. One fateful day she found that.. she miscarried. For her that was the final straw. She no longer would fight for the good of this world as for here there was none and never would me. She did whatever crimes she needed to so she lived comfortable.
As for what happened to the man she was meant to marry, she heard he never got over her.
She had joined the crew of
Nights revenge before any of the newcomers had and was the first to be there- in fact she was the last crew member alive after a hard battle.. She was trained by the old captain whom had taken a liking to her and saw her talents and skill- she being the only pirate left alive and the only person whom remembered how the original ship was ran.. She waits for the dead of night.. on a special day.. to collect the new crew of pirates.

Likes:
Rain, open spaces, seeing people happy, being in good company, cats, the morning, someone she can lean on, friends, children. Other stuff will be found thru RP

Dislikes:
Closed spaces, being alone, nighttime, seeing children unhappy, old men/men in general, being touched anywhere near her legs without permission, getting flashbacks, the mere idea that a man can do something horrible to a woman.

Strengths:
Optimistic, Great shooter, great at lying, resourceful
, can be very flirtatious and distracting to a male if she wanted to be.

Weaknesses:
Not good at close combat, not good with directions sometimes, can be frozen in place by certain noises and words, a mention of a child in combat can make her freeze up for a second.

Personality:

Maxwell is a cold person on the outside, he has always been this way and no one knows why. He in reality is afraid to show he cares, loves, had compassion has love has anything at all to offer a person. He loves to be around people but is too afraid to do it while at the same time he pushes everyone away from him and hurts then while he is at it. He wants to love and care for a person and have them do the same for him. He is a cuddly, flirtatious person but most know him for his ice cold heart and even colder touch.

Backstory:

When Maxwell was a boy he lived a lavished life with his younger brother whom was to marry a girl who he knew his brother was head over heels for. He was happy for his brother but in time saw that the girl who was once his own friend had changed becoming jumpy around his father. As time went on this girl went missing and he alongside her brother looked for her everywhere they could. Night and day, Day and night, no matter how hard he had tired to he never found the girl.. and one fateful day his brother went into the woods. He went to look for his brother and all he was a blood trail, he assumed his brother had killed himself in grief for his lost love. Heartbroken, the now man joined the Army. He blamed not this girl, but he believes pirates took her and that is why his brother is dead.

Likes:

The warm sun, peaceful quite settings, the early morning, the smell of wet earth, the sunset, people who interact with him from afar, dogs, midnight. More will be found thru RP

Dislikes:

The cold winter, loud places, being alone completely, killing without reason, Pirates above all else, guns, the name "Oliver", Crying woman or children. More will be found thru RP.

Strengths :

Quick witted, strong hearted, hard to be fazed, hard to be manipulated, not scared of the threat of death, fast.

Weaknesses

Isn't the strongest fighter, can go into a blind rage and would be easier to attack, can be made to stop anything he is doing if he is told his brother is alive, it is hard for him to listen to people.

Personality
She has extreme abandonment issues, and when she gets attached to a person she kind of clings to them in fear of losing them. She has a bad temper to mask this as she prefers people stay away even with that, she hates the idea of losing a person so much she acts as nasty as possible so they stay away. She truly is just hurt, and wants someone to just tell her it's okay. She is a sweet girl under her hard shell of pure anger and hate. She loves the company of others, and loves it when she makes someone happy. Chances are though she won't be admitting to it anytime soon.

Backstory:
She was abandoned at birth, and she was told her parents never loved her because she was born with a defect.. One of her hands is missing a finger and another is only half formed, amoung a few other things. Because of this she is super self consious, and along with that and being told how worthless she was, the people who showed her any attention she clinged to.. and someone took advantage of it, being incredibly abusive to her and hurting her emotionally and mentally. She eventually realized it and ran away, living on the streets till she heard of a band of pirates, and she was now desprate to escape the police who were chasing her.. she decided to give it a shot.

Strengths
She is very strong willed, and very strong for her age. She isn't easy to manipulate and unfortunately some of her innocence was stolen from her as she was given a rude awakening to how people can be, is a pickpocket.

Weaknesses
She is still innocent in some ways, what she makes up for in strength she lacks in speed, no skill in weapons, no skill in cooking.

Personality
Though no one really gets to know her, she kind of doesn't have one in the first place upon first appearance.. She almost has no emotions that one can see, she is unreadable and very serious, straightforward, and stern. But if she is comfortable in her situation she is very playful, a happy person, and has the driest, most dad joke humor ever. She is easily excitable, and can go from blank to super excited within milliseconds. So, she might seem very dull at first but getting to know her reveals a complete switch. A fair warning though, she kind of is a bit too serious about some things, and doesn't like recklessness.

Backstory
She was from a good family, not poor but not rich either. She lived a very happy life and used to be just herself, not the.. emotionless mess most people think of her as first. She was a normal, hard working person till she was married off at about 17. Her husband was at first the most gentleman of a man she'd ever met. Charming, likable, and seemingly.. perfect. Too bad for her that she was getting into something horrible. The second she moved in her life became a living hell. He indeed was a good man.. when sober. When he drank he became very violent, beating her senselessly. It was a constant roller coaster. She had tried to fight him off, tried to make everything okay... tried to keep him away from drinking but it never worked. One day though it had went too far, and after a very long beating her forever scared her, dumping boiling hot water onto one side of her face.. she went blind from that side, it took months of healing, and she lost in her mind all of her beauty. Feeling she had no escape she almost killed herself.. that was, until she heard of the band of female pirates and decided to go there.. or face her death. She joined the crew and made quite a name for herself.. When she got into a certain state of mind she was a brutal killer, completely capable of killing a man but.. don't leave her be in those states, she might hack them to pieces or something. She usually does remember this and is extremely ashamed.

Likes
Nice people, Flowers, small animals, children, her family that she had to leave behind, life, the way the wind sounds in forests.

Dislikes
Alcohol of any kind, hot water ( teas, coffee, hot chocolate, soups. ), men, being alone, having to face things by herself

Strengths
She can take more then a lot of pain without feeling it, she won't reveal information from those she cares for even if threatened with death, she doesn't need to eat food every day or drink water, can survive long amounts of time without that.

Weaknesses
Isn't scared of death so is willing to do crazy things ( good and bad ), absolutely terrified of men, cannot be near the edges of the ship due to fear of water ( she can swim, though. ), doesn't know when enough is enough.
