"You're in what the humans call the 'Great White Ghost Bear's Territory' of Alaska," Kruuna said to the selkie.

"Ohh, that's cool!" Echo barked, observing the immediate area around her.

The selkie does not seem to notice that I am a large, albino Kodiak Bear, Kruuna thought in her head.
"The other Bears call this place 'Kruuna's Territory', it is my territory and few ever enter this place," she said to the Selkie and Irin.
Even though Kruuna had said "territory", it almost sounded like "purgatory".

"Do you ever leave your territory? Go outside and explore?" The selkie asked. She fully acknowledged the bear could kill her in a second if she could, but knowing she was another mythical, she felt relatively safe.

It brought back memories, bad ones at that.
"No. I have not left this place since that day, so, so long ago..." Kruuna's voice faded off like a light in the darkness, and it was full of loneliness and sorrow.
That day was full of sadness, heartbreak, tears, fire, blood, and death.

"What happened that day?" Echo asked, not knowing what she was talking about.

"Bloodshed and Death," Kruuna looked away when she said this. The Bear had a very pained expression on her face.
"I really do not like to talk about it, even with the Spirits..." Kruuna said the second part of the sentence in the native language of the Bears.

"Oh... sorry, I won't make you talk if you don't want to" Echo said.

"How about we talk about something else," Kruuna said to the Selkie and the Irin.

"Sure! I'll tell you about the Selkie village!" Echo volunteered. "The only locals there are Selkies, it's a really popular tourist legend spot, my brother and his wife live there, most housing for the selkies is temporary apartments, which are free for Selkies to stay in, as long as you can show a selfie coat, you can get up to seven years in a room, once you've stayed here for a total of seven years, your stuff gets moved to a special cave system under the island so the selkies can still keep their stuff" Echo told Kruuna
