Tris rolled eyes, "Conjuring implies you are able to bring them out of nothing. To be a mad scientist you need ingredients. And why are they so sad, being sad is pointless." He frowned. "Wait isn't that what you do? When you see someone that's sad can't you just unsad them."

Tris frowned. "Excuse you, are you doctor material. Of course not, you like Astra."

"Can't you just conjure the ingredients?" Elynna responded. "Unless, in your world, there's a difference between a mad scientist and a magical mad scientist?"

Tris bristled, this was a sore subject for him.

Astra decided to chime in. "He can't he doesn't have magic at all, so he just grumbles all day and talks about how great he is."
