Groggily, Asher stumbles into the kitchen after getting ready for the day, and halts at the table next to a seat, not yet sitting but not quite standing. "Hullo, mother. What can I do to help?" He says cheerfully, though, to be honest, he's still tired.

By late afternoon you've reached the bottom of the mountains, they're a lot taller than they looked from a distance. Raymond sighed. "Fly or walk?"


I flap my arms as if I was flying to indicate my choice

"Hmph," she says, not bothering to introduce herself. She takes something silver out of her pocket, puts it on the ground, and begins drawing things in the dirt around it.

She perks up when she sees you. "Asher, can you be a dear and head to the market for me? I need you to buy some things later."

As you take the five-minute walk to the library, you take in the scenery, the colorful buildings and street lamps burning with a flame that never goes out - the work of pyrokinesis. You're so busy looking around that you smack into someone, sending papers flying everywhere. "I'm so sorry!" the girl apologizes. "I wasn't looking where I was going!" What do you say?

"It's alright, I wasn't either," I say. I pick up the papers and give them back to her. "What's your name by the way? I'm Lina."

"Mkay." Asher says, briefly combing through his unruly hair before stepping through the door. "What do I need to get?" He says over his shoulder, pausing.

Her scanner beeps, and she frowns. "Tell your sister to get in here quick, guards are heading this way."

He laughs and turns into his original form. "Flying. Get on."

She shifts the papers to her left hand and extends her right. "Nice to meet you Lina, I'm Phoenicia but my friends call me Phoenix. Where are you headed?"
