*repeatedly facepalms at cliche-ness*

For hundreds of thousands of years, the Seven Worlds (Qatoria, Aidana, Ignacia, Aeriwen, Ixkhara, Evander, and Corithrae) have lived in harmony, perhaps partially due to their lack of communication with each other. Each have their own specialties, and each are unique in their own ways. All have at least a touch of magic.

However, within the past decade, unease has been growing. Within each world, people are turning against each other. Leaders are corrupt. War has already begun, or is on the horizon. Candela, the only connection between the Seven Worlds, is growing unstable. Things are unraveling from every end, and who knows what will happen when it all falls apart?
Only one thing is for certain - it will take the bravest from all seven worlds to stop this.

2. You will interact with other players. If you do not want to, let know.

4. You can die, but only if you make horrible stupid decisions. I don't want to kill you, but I will if there's no way you can survive.

5. I will cut my responses to 2-4 per person per hour at maximum so as not to distract me or bore you with repeated replies.

6. Please let me know if you change your username.

7. If you're reading this, include the word 'bakery' somewhere in your sign-up form.

8. If I fail to respond to you within 4 days, ping me again. I may have forgotten.

9. Please quote/bold my last response, and ping me (blue @ symbol in the bottom right corner of my post)

10. Inactivity after two weeks will get you kicked. I will remind you if you haven't responded in awhile.

The Seven Worlds
When you just look up names that mean 'awesome' or something
Each world has a title and a specialty that sets it apart. While it is generally difficult to communicate between worlds, different worlds seem to come into contact with some more than others. There may only be one player per world. First come, first pick. Ignore my stupid descriptions because I suck at summaries.

Qatoria, the World of Prodigies
Species: Human with few humanoids.
Specialty: Choose your Prodigy - or have none.
Encounters: Phoenicia, Akira, Akio, Soren, Mallory, Dashiell
In Qatoria, everyone - well, almost everyone, is a Prodigy. Prodigies usually have one magical ability, however it is not unheard of to have a second, usually minor ability. It is mostly suburban with a few major cities. The Council is made up of 3 elected people. Qatoria is closest to Ignacia.
Recently, Prodigies have been going missing, and none have yet to be seen again. There have been rumors of a person with no abilities who has constructed a machine to steal the abilities of others. This, of course, has caused wide distrust of people without abilities, although these rumors have yet to be proven.
Taken by Whiterosealliance.

Aidana, the World of Technology
Species: All human, very few humanoids
Specialty: Choose what science you excel at, or choose an ability from the other worlds
Encounters: Atari, Cobalt, Myra, Jocelyn, Io
The people of Aidana naturally have no magic, however, the technology here is so advanced that it is like magic to those who are not familiar with it. Much of it is urban. It is a dictatorship and is closest to Corithrae.
While much of the time, the few magical people of Aidana are generally not bothered, the current dictator of Aidana is corrupt and fears that together, they can overthrow him. Everyone who is discovered to have magic is executed for false charges of treason. But some are hidden away, used for something else...
Taken by Orca2whale.

Ignacia, the World of the Magi
Species: Human or humanoid.
Specialty: Choose your Familiar.
Encounters: Santiago, Saoirse, Hana, Kian, Aisha, Hiro
Ignacia is home to the Magi, also called witches or wizards by others. They draw their powers from their Familiars to cast spells. Familiars are demons, and often come in the form of animals. The only way to . summon a Familiar is from the dangerous ether outside the city, the home of the demons and one the most dangerous places in the Seven Worlds. This world is closest to Qatoria.
Ignacia has wards protecting the city from the ether that have held for thousands of years, but they have been cast so long ago that no one alive remembers how to recreate them. Occasionally one or two demons find their way in and are quickly dispatched by the guards, but more and more demons have infiltrated the city in recent years. Either the wards are failing after they have held up for so long, or this is sabotage.
Taken by Gingertail.

Aeriwen, the World of Hybrids
Species: Human, mythical creatures, hybrids
Specialty: Choose your species.
Encounters: Aika, Rachelle, Dominic, Anahita, Hayden, Alexandria
Aeriwen is known to be a safe place for hybrids and humanoids of every kind. They live in the same world as regular humans and are considered equals. There is one human and one hybrid ruler. Most creatures with humanoid forms prefer to use them here, although there are much less creatures that aren't hybrids. While they usually do not mingle with each other, there has been no ill will between them. Aeriwen is closest to Ixkhara.
However, there have been recent attacks on both humans and hybrids, and each side believes the other is to blame. People are growing suspicious of their neighbors, and if this isn't stopped, it could turn into a war that would tear this world apart.
Taken by Oofofthelandofoof.

Ixkhara, the World of the Wilds
Species: Human (few), intelligent animal, or mythical creature.
Specialty: Choose your species.,
Encounters: Skywhisper, Luna, Rose-Mist, Raymond, Darya
Ixkhara is the one World where humans do not dominate. Much of it is rural, and most of the animals, mythical or not, are intelligent and have the ability to take on a human form. Every species of animal can be found here, and none have ever gone extinct. Ixkhara comes into contact most with Aeriwen.
The numbers of these animals have been dwindling over time, and humans have grown bold and hunted them - it seems there's a bounty out for most of the mythicals. Some species are coming close to extinction, and this could upset the entire balance of things.
Taken by Grapejuice.

Evander, the World of the Kingdoms
Species: All human.
Specialty: Choose your Kingdom. You will be excellent in combat with close range weapons if you choose Argyros, and long-range weapons with Aurelia.
Encounter: Felix, Noelle, Leah, Aaron, Marshall, Rowan
The two great kingdoms of Evander are known as Aurelia and Argyros, or the kingdoms of Gold and Silver. They are similar to each other but different at the same time. They generally keep away from each other but while there is rivalry, neither has ever fought against the other. This world mostly keeps to itself.
There are incidents that have been taking place in each kingdom that seem obvious that the other is behind it. There is no proof that either of them started it, but tensions are growing between the kingdoms and a war is on the horizon, which will no doubt cost the lives of many - and neither kingdom can survive without the other.
Taken by Scoutwolf

Corithrae, the World of the Elementals
Species: Human or humanoid.
Specialty: Choose your element.
Encounters: Reyna, Jordan, Nathaniel, Rea, Cedric
The elementals of Corithrae are not part of the majority but have never had any reason to hide. They are generally looked up to as god-like figures and treated with respect. It mostly runs in the family, but every once in awhile, the ability pops up randomly. Most do not usually know until they are around 10 years old, some earlier and some later. Corithrae is the closest to Aidana.
A great disease has been sweeping through Corithrae, and all but the Elementals have been affected by this. Non-elementals have come to the conclusion that the Elementals are to blame, and they have been forced into hiding for fear of being attacked in the streets. The Elementals, however, are responsible for much of the privileges the world enjoys, and things will be much worse without them.
Taken by Lalalanmao.

NPCs
More information about their backstories will be added as you learn more.

Raymond | Griffin | Male | 19 | Ixkhara | Neutral Good
Shy-ish, doesn't talk to other people much unless they talk to him first, but is very protective of his friends. He tends to be pessimistic at times.
He was traveling with four other Mythicals, but they were separated when hunters caught them. He has hinted that some were captured and/or killed.
Small and can't take much of a flying load but is fast and agile. He seems more grounded towards his Griffin form, but he usually stays human to avoid hunters.

Jocelyn Swift | Avian | Female | 17-18 | Aidana | Neutral Good

Curious and clever, stutters when nervous. Can be blunt at times but is generally sweet. She is sensitive to emotions, and can pick up on when people are hiding something due to her animal senses. She is too scared to travel alone.
She was separated from her twin brother and somehow ended up in Aidana. She was a fugitive at first, but was later declared missing after she avoided authorities for five years. She has opened a bakery in a quiet corner or town, biding her time until she can somehow go to Aeriwen to find her brother again.
She is a half pacific swift, half black kite. She keeps her wings hidden most of the time as she would probably get executed if she was caught. If she's nervous, excited, sad, or is generally not paying attention, they might become visible for a second accidentally and then disappear again.

Rachelle ? | ? | Female | 29 | Aeriwen | ?
Often called 'Miss Rachelle' by the younger hybrids, she is the caretaker of the sanctuary. She is skilled with most weapons and deadly, so it is best not to be her enemy. She can be very stern, and angering her is an unwise decision.

Aika ? | ? | Female | 18 | Aeriwen | ?
Talks in a haughty manner and no-nonsense, she will not help people who don't try to help themselves. She doesn't take orders from most people and is more likely to slap you than do as told. She holds grudges for eternity and refuses to talk about her past.

Dominic ? | Shape-Shifter, although he prefers either human or rhino | Male | 19 | Aeriwen | Lawful Good
Kind of awkward and shy, he's a big softie but is very, like, very overprotective and goes into rage mode if someone hurts his friends. Plus, he likes turning into a rhino, so... don't hurt his friends.
He can turn into any animal, excluding mythicals, that he has seen before, however it takes much more concentration and effort to become something he is not very familiar with or has not turned into before. He prefers being a rhino, for unknown reasons, although is 'grounded' in human form. When severely (as in life-threatingly) injured or knocked out, he reverts back to human form. The longer he stays in one, the harder it is to change, and it gets tiring to hold if he's not as familiar with it.

Aaron ? | ? | Male | 17 | Evander | ?

Phoenicia ? | ? | Female | 17 | Qatoria | ?

Reyna ? | ? Elemental | Female | 6 | Corithrae | Neutral Good?
She is extremely energetic and playful. She loves to ask questions and is friendly towards everyone, perhaps not always a good thing. She can be very determined for a six-year-old if needed, but otherwise acts like any other inquisitive child.
She comes from a family of Elementals, and her brother is Jordan, a fire elemental.
It is very likely that she will be an Elemental as well, what type is yet to be determined.

Hayden/Haid'yn | Caladrius | Male | Around several millenia, although he looks about 18 in human form | Aeriwen | True Neutral leaning towards Chaotic Good
Brutally honest and often speaks in a bored tone, even though he isn't really. It seems thousands of years don't do much good to your social skills.
He can heal things such as sickness and exhaustion with a touch by taking it upon himself momentarily. He cannot entirely fix injuries such as wounds or broken bones but can greatly speed up recovery and take away most of the pain. It gets more difficult and takes more of a toll on him if done repeatedly in a short amount of time. This is slightly easier in his true form. He cannot get sick and recovers from injuries quickly. Doesn't seem grounded towards either form, but who knows.

Important Information

General

- The Seven Worlds are Qatoria, Aidana, Ignacia, Aeriwen, Ixkhara, Evander, and Corithrae. More info about them can be found above.

- Candela or the Gateway Between Worlds, is the most reliable method of traveling between worlds. It can only be reached by going to the edge of the world, or creating a portal, which even then is not very reliable.

Qatoria

Aidana

- Not every Prodigy who gets arrested is executed... The ones going to be executed were taken to the left hallway, which led outside. But they took other people to the right hallway instead, where screaming and crying could be heard.

Ignacia

Aeriwen.

- There have been recent attacks on both hybrids/animals and humans.

Ixkhara

- There seem to be bounties out for most of the mythical creatures here. Strange...

Evander

- Things have been stolen from both kingdoms. What significance is unknown.

Corithrae
