Anubis pushed open the door to the cafe and stepped inside, gently sniffing the air and taking in all of the warm smells of the place. The cafe calmed him down and made the boredom somewhat bearable. He led the way to a table in the corner and sat down, smoothing his coat down. "Well, we have been here already, earlier. Do you want anything else?"

Prism shook her head.
" No, I'm fine thank you. You've already done enough. " She gave him a small smile. She tucked her tail around her waist like she normally did when she sat. She took in a deep breath as she smelled the nice aroma in the air. Prism looked over and spaced out for a moment, remembering the song she wrote.

Anubis began humming a random tune from nowhere in particular and fidgeted a bit, observing everything closely from where he sat. "Well, we are here, and we have nothing to do. How amusing." There was some silence for a while, then he spoke again. "So, like, what do you like to do?"

Prism thought for a moment.
" I enjoy training actually. I enjoy seeing the city, I love to read. The movies are nice too, but I haven't been able to see one in a long time. I don't do very much to be honest. " She replied.
" It's hard to go out in public with these. " She said, holding up her tail with one hand, and pointing to her ears with the other.
" I normally have to keep a headband with me so the ears look faux, and I always wear an elastic band around my waist in case anoyone asks about the tail.

"Mmm." Anubis nodded, agreeing with most of her hobbies, minus the movie one. He never had much time to watch movies even if he liked to, and there were not much good movies to watch anyways. He tilted his head again and watched her. "Do you ever feel that those..." He gestured to her ears and tail. "Deter you from everyday "normal" life?"

Prism thought for a moment before answering.
" They can sometimes, but it's sort of inevitable. I'm never going to have that 'normal' life anyways. " She smiled sadly. She looked down at the table.
" At least you morthlings aren't stuck with your animal features forever. You can live at least a semi 'normal' life. "

I should probably mention you are an animal, you honestly can't talk. Only Tilly may talk in animal form because of telepathy x3 I completely forgot to mention. Downside of being le morthling.

"There is no normal, dear." Anubis said gently, reaching across the table and patting her on the head. "Everyone is unique. Some, more than others. You and your kind are the most unique possibly out there." He paused for a moment. "Seeing we have so much time - would you like to see a movie?" He hoped he could cheer her up because honestly, him being kinda psychic at first and now talking about this... he wouldn't be surprised if she felt uncomfortable.

Prism looked up as he patted her head.
She tilted her head sideways a bit.
" If you would enjoy it as well, I don't see why not. " She smiled. She thought for a moment the last time she had gone to a movie, and that was when she was about 11. It was an action movie, and was rather good. She loved any type of movie, but action and horror were her favorites.

She shook her head, "Nope. It's one of my few days out, I'm not spending it training. I'll go find someone, I saw a few people heading out earlier. Plus, Briar always says you learn easier out in the field than stuck against the same people" she gave a wave before running off the way she'd come, humming to herself as she ran around, not looking before her. Her tail poked out slightly under her sweater. She turned before she left, "I'm sure if you ask you can go out, even training in how to throw a ball is more useful than waving your weapon around"
