Lucio leads us to the main room, where Gabriel is waiting next to a massive man. the man is tall, taller even than Gabriel himself by a foot. he leans against the wall, listening to something the smaller man says, smiling and chuckling in response.


when the pair spots us, the fall silent, with Gabriel turning his attention to lucio and us. "i see you've brought my people with you" he notes, though not unkindly. Lucio laughs, nodding. "yeah, i ran into them on my way here, i thought maybe they'd like to come along" he says, shrugging. "well then, lets get down to business" Gabriel says, gesturing to the wooden table set up between them.


"unfortunately, Angela has already retired for bed" Gabriel shakes his head "i'm sure she would have loved to be here to see this, but alas, she is not, and we must continue without her."

She took her friend and sat down at the table, she stayed quiet and feared she would be stepped on

"well then" Lucio says, glancing between Gabriel and the tall man. "i see you've already met Akande" he notes. Gabriel nods, keeping his eyes focused on us despite the fact that it is clear his mind is elsewhere. "yes, i have" he begins "i've heard many good things about your strategist. i'm surprised you're willing to give him up" Gabriel says carefully, watching his words to make sure he doesn't insult the other god.


"well, being a god of the arts, i don't exactly get into wars much, now do i?" he asks "you, on the other hand, being the god of the dead are more prone to being involved with conflicts. not to mention, he could help manage the underworld, he is a very intelligent man" Lucio adds.


"and what would you want in return for your best strategist and soldier?" Gabriel asks, getting straight to the point. this must have been exactly what Lucio was waiting for, as he grins and points to lily. "i'd take the girl, of course" he answers.

She watched silently not wanting to interfere

Gabriel leans back in his chair, debating whether or not it's worth it. in the end, though, he chooses to give lily to Lucio. "that seems fair to me, you may have her" he agrees, gesturing to lily.


"so uh, good bye i guess" i whisper, giving her a sad smile "don't have too much fun without me, ok?" i add, still whispering. Lucio and Gabriel shake hands and, Gabriel rises to his feet once more "i will be taking my new strategist to my war room, i assume you will have something to do with your new human as well. in that case, good night Lucio" Gabriel says, turning heel and walking off, with the large man following behind him.

She smiled back at him sadly "I promise I won't and if you still have your phone I'll give you my number" she said hugging him tightly "you should totally tell me how it goes when he puts his shoes on" she whispered and got up and turning to lucio and heading to pack her thing's

"my phone is completely dead, it got dropped in some water" i sigh "but i will find a way to tell you how it goes" i promise, smiling happily again.


"i'll show you to your new room" Lucio says, offering his arm out to her. "your room is attached to the room i'm staying in right now, me and Angela are staying until the end of the week so you'll have plenty of time to pack your things" he explains, guiding her away.

She nodded and took his arm, she nodded at him, she didn't know what to say to him, well he is nice but she wondered if he was gonna take a human again but she just wanted to nap now

i follow behind the pair silently, as their rooms are in the same direction as mine. this is kind of awkward now.

slinking off in the direction of me room, i watch as the pair slip into a different room, with Lucio explaining to lily that this is her new room for now.

She nodded and sat on the bed it was a a little more nicer than her other room probably because it was connected to a room with a god sleeping in it "do you want y- your necklace back" she stutters a little, she stutters Sometimes it's not as bad as it was when she was a kid but it happens
