Darla bounded in after you sniffing the shallow wound. *You bleeding* she meowed coarsely. As you walked you and the Liothyst drew a good deal of attention from the crystalline people.

"I know." She turned to her. "You are drawing a lot of attention to us." She whispered to her.

("I apologise if I startled you before." I make a polite half-bow. "Allow me to introduce myself. You may call me Dusk. May I have the pleasure of knowing your name?" I extend a hand for a handshake. What I said had not been a lie, because my name literately means Dusk.)

The girl hesitantly shook your hand by the fingertips, as if she were allergic to your hand. She clearly didn't trust you, but didn't want to be rude. "Erina."

(Welcome back! Long time no see~)

Astraeus tilted her head a bit as she observed the girl. "Nice to meet you, Erina. I am new to this place, do you mind showing me around?" She could see Erina, if that even was her real name, was quite untrusting of her, but then again, she was a stranger in these parts. Astraeus just wanted to learn more about this place and hopefully up her skills and complete the quest she was given and so she could continue on her own personal quest of hunting down that vile man who killed her family.

"Then where are you from? You certainly aren't a native to Deberon, only humans live here." The man pointed at you, as if pointing out your difference from him. He must have been an average example of the people here.

(Prepare to be bombarded with images. If any of them fail to appear, let me know and I'll describe them.)
There are eight mirrors, and as you look at each an image appears on the surface for an instant.
Red:

Yellow:

Green:

Blue:

Silver:

Purple:

White:

The last mirror is black. As you peer at it the surface ripples into an image, unlike the others.

Alec frowned lightly. This man was asking too many questions. He looked at Bandit, then at the man again. "I can always you guess," he replied. "Otherwise, I don't have to explain myself to you."

(Thanks! Good to be back!)

You didn't sense that she had lied to you, so Erina was probably her name. Unless, of course, she had gone about it in a way similar to you.
She looked slightly taken aback, "Uhhh..." she replied in her scratchy voice. "I-I guess." She wrung her hands nervously, as if wondering what she had gotten herself into. "But only for a little bit." She hastily added, "I n-need to get home to my family soon." You could easily tell by the way she was acting that she has lying. She had no-one to go home to.

(bold/quote please! Unless you're device is acting up again, in which case please let me know)

His smile turned awkward as he shook your hand, "Heh. At first, asking to meet you seemed a grand idea. But now I find I can think of nothing to say but thank you." He chuckled at himself good-humoredly, drawing back his hand, "Are you any better at conversing than I? If we both seem to be lacking in the skill, I shant keep you any longer." He seemed very light-hearted, and not afraid of embarrassing himself.

She flicked her ear, as if uncaring. "I know this thing. But I not too uncommon, mostly you. Maybe change to look like them?" Darla suggested, glancing up at you. She might have been genuinely trying to be helpful, but you thought that she might have just wanted to see you change form again. It clearly fascinated her.
