Oh, one more quick question! Would you happen to know the stat caps?

Forgive a n00b-type question, but does stat nurturing of Hatchlings affect their base stats? As in, if Nurturing raises a Hatchling's INT from 22 to 23, will the INT of that Hatchling's future offspring be determined using a base of 22 or a base of 23?

I believe nurturing affects the base stats. Whatever the base stat is on the adult is the reference point for its offspring.
So if by nurturing, you raise the base stat from 22 to 23, when adult, the stat that'll determine the offspring's would be 23.

Is there anyway to do this without using a ton of philters? I know it will take an eternity but I'm fairly patient

Technically, you can. When you hatch eggs, you have the option to help them hatch (giving them a bonus of HP) or let them hatch on their own (giving them a random bonus of strength, intelligence, dexterity, or agility). If you leave the egg for 2-5 days to really hatch on its own, it gives +1 to each of the stats, I think.
This doesn't require philters, but the bonuses give like +5 or something (I can't remember, sorry), which is on par with a Lesser Philter of ____.
Regular Philters of ____ give +20 (for strength, intelligence, dexterity, or agility), and Prismatic Philters give +100 HP and +25 everything else (and Prismatics as far as I know are the only philters that give an HP bonus outside of helping the egg hatch).
So its possible, but it goes way slow. You have to go through about 4 generations of eggs to get the same bonus of one Regular Philter, or 20 generations of helping the eggs hatch to get to 1 Prismatic Philter's effect.
So you're more likely to be able to make enough gold for a few prismatic philters than wait for 20 generations of pets (many, many months) in comparison.
Hope this helped aha.

Hello Flute. Newbie question incoming!
You mentioned that the four parents should be unrelated when starting the project. What if there happens to be a great, great, great, great grandparent relation between two of the stat breeding parents? Is it inconsequential or could it potentially become a problem later on down the track?
Thanks!
