She much prefers a blade over any type of gun. She is especially deadly at swordplay and likes to distract her opponent with her sword while discreetly stabbing them (is that possible?) with a dagger or small blade of some sort.
Appearance
Personality
Sassy and never fails to come up with a smart remark, she listens to almost no one lower than her, and certainly not to men. She acts shy and harmless around people she doesn't trust, then stabs them in the back - sometimes literally. If someone insults her or her crew, it'll take a bull to stop her from immediately rushing them. She enjoys action and has trouble sitting still. She likes a little bit of pressure and will take risks in the blink of an eye. She can be very serious and determined, and it's hard to stop her when she has her mind set on something - but that doesn't mean she won't smile as she's doing it.

She was mistreated as a child and ran away in search of adventure. She'd been a thief for awhile but found it lacking the excitement she sought, so... she joined the crew.
Roleplay Example
Jay dreaded that terrible moment when his alarm clock rang. Even more so because Akio, his roommate, had somehow managed to change the ringtone to him saying beep beep in the most obnoxious voice ever, and he had no idea how to fix it.
"Wake up, Sleeping Beauty - or should I say, Sleeping Birdy?" Akio singsonged, followed by sound of what was probably him jumping up and down on his bed.
"Shut up," grumbled Jay, flailing around on the dresser in an attempt to turn off the alarm clock without looking, and managing to knock several textbooks onto the floor in the process with a tremendous crash. Great. The people downstairs were going to kill him. If Akio's constant... Akio-ing didn't kill him first. The moment he found the clock and smacked the snooze button, he threw it in the general direction of Akio's voice.
"Missed!" said Akio gleefully.
Jay groaned. This was going to be a long week.
Little did he know it would get even worse.

Yo everyone knows I suck at non-RPG intros, so good thing Nyx explained everything above :D
In the list below, I have excluded most of the exploration items, as I don't like most of them.
You may use any hair, eyes, mouths, etc. you want.

Non-RP/RPG intros: "This is a thing where you do stuff!"
RP/RPG intros: "At first, it was just a few cases here and there. Perfectly normal people who were fine one day, and crazy the next. People with eyes that were normal one day, and pure darkness the next. People who were free one day, and servants to an unknown force the next. And it was spreading, passed to whoever was unlucky enough to be overpowered by the ones who had already been taken by the shadows.
You had dismissed it as nothing important to you, a minor problem, surely it would be solved? In any case, you were safe, it would never reach you.
But it spread like wildfire, an epidemic like nothing anyone had ever seen before. So you weren't prepared when it reached your town. First a stranger, then an acquaintance, then a friend.
And then the person closest to you was taken and you could do nothing to stop it. You could only leave them and escape. Hoping for somewhere you could be safe from the shadows.
But you aren't safe. And if this continues, no one will be.
Will you spend the rest of your life running? Will you hide and search for refuge? Will you seek other survivors and find and try to live with it? Or will you find a way to stop this?"

Hmm, alright I can totally work with that.
I am not magic, 1750's, or ship savy so I will research it better to write better lore.. Funny enough I know more about the fashion of that time. ( Suit collector, or going to be at least. ).
give me all the info you can so I can make it as detailed as possible.

Every great artist must have had great pain to give such art. I am an artist is several ways.. Painting, sculpting, drawing in several ways, writing, poetry, music in some ways, acting.. But I wouldn't wish the pain I had to go through to make it all so vivid on any person lol, and my life isn't that bad, but every great thing has a sad story behind it.
I can write beautifully, make it real, make you see it in your mind or feel, but i've felt a lot to make it that way lol. There is a price to everything, I tell you.

As many, uh, people per person as you'd like, within reason. As in, no, you may not create twenty different characters. You may create three or four or five different characters, as long as you can RP them all.

I know what you're talking about more than a lot of people would think. I've been through some tough stuff. I know others have it way worse, but my life really hasn't been fun at times. I've self-harmed, I've had very negative thoughts that I don't feel like sharing here, where everyone can read them. Words certainly hurt harder than slaps and punches, though. But I suppose it's the cracks in a broken person where ideas and light and creativity can come in and heal them bit by bit.
On a slightly happier not, 63 views within an hour and a half of being created? The most popular thread I've created, to be sure.

I am so incredibly sorry to hear that! I know a lot of people have been through a lot of things.. and they carry their own scars baring their own stories. Heck, I have both visible and mental ones. I just want you to know that there are people who'd give the world to see you smile, to hear you laugh, and to see you healthy.
Also, I'd think the slaps depending on who gave you them hurt more.. at least you can get numb to words.. sort of. I hope that your life only ever becomes brighter and happier, people who have been hurt should have it happier..
That is amazing! I am hoping that means a lot of people join in.

... What if they're actual slaps? I can vouch that slaps don't feel as bad as other things. They don't really feel like anything after awhile. I'd probably take a slap to the face over "you're a failure" any day.
...
That just got dark fast...
