it's Gabriel who finds me, sneaking up behind me and grabbing me by the shoulder, turning me around. "what are you doing?" he asks, giving me a warm smile. "nothing" i snap, yanking away from him. he frowns, letting his hand drop.

"i know you've been thinking about how to escape" Gabriel states, cold and uncaring once more. my heart flies into my throat, and my eyes go wide. is he mad!? is he going to punish me!?

Gabriel chuckles at my scared expression, shifting a bit. "i'm not mad, per se" he begins "i am willing to give you a chance to earn your freedom" he says, looking like a weight has been lifted from his shoulders. "why?" i blurt, immediately regretting it. don't look a gift horse in the mouth!

"you'll come back to me eventually" he shrugs. i glare at him. how dare he insinuate i would willingly come back to him! "i'm the god of the dead, everyone comes to me eventually" he clarifies, catching my scathing look. oh yeah, that does make sense.


"what about lily?" i ask, mirroring Gabes pose with my arms crossed. "me and Lucio have agreed on this, we release you two to live out the rest of your lives, and we get you back when you die" he says, holding up a hand to stop me from speaking "BUT, you have to earn it. if you find these three items for us, then this will all be over" he finishes.

Lilly has cryed herself to sleep, she was exhausted and tired of crying in her room, before she slept she had tried breaking off the collar which made her cut herself a few times on her neck and shoulders but she was to tired to notice, she layed in the bed Depressingly looking out the window her back facing the door

Gabriel thrusts a list into my hands, and i scramble to catch it. "i suggest you go find lily and tell her how to get out of here, she seems eager to get out" Gabriel says, brushing past me and continuing on his way.

as soon as he's out of sight i rush to find lily, searching both the main rooms and the garden before finally searching her room, before finding her in her room. i knock on the door, waiting anxiously for her to answer so i can tell her the news.

She stays in the bed ignoring it, she covered her head with the blankets and stayed quiet, she was to Depressed to get up she just wanted to die and waist away at this point, she wouldn't be able to go to school since she missed to much and her parents probably thought she melted away so she just layed in bed "go away" she mumbled

"lily it's important let me in" i call out, looking at the list in my hand. the first item on the list is an enchanted pendant, that should be in Gabriels jewelry box, right? that one will be easy. the next is a deck of tarrot cards. that one will be harder to find, but not impossible.

She got up and slammed her door open "WHAT DO YOU WANT!!!!!" She yelled at him angrily the door bob Making a hole in her wall,she didn't care what he had to say, her life was already ruined, she was so close to blowing a blood vessel and hurting whoever was infront of her starting with him, her teeth clenched angrily as she looked at him firmly

"i can get us out of here" i say, ignoring her outburst. i hold up the list for her to see, grinning broadly. "all we have to do is find these three items and we are free to go home, this can all be over" i explain, excitedly. i can see my friends again! i can go back to volunteering and back to my job!

She shut the door "good luck Because I'm not helping I got a notice saying I was kicked out,I lost my apartment,I lost my job, I lost everything so go away because I hate you all" she growled getting back into bed

"so you're just going to sit here and mope all day?" i challenge "you can get your job back, you can find another apartment, but you can't get another chance at getting out of this place!" i tell her, storming off. fine, if she doesn't want out, she doesn't have to leave. i am, though, and i am tired of waiting.

She rolled her eyes "no I don't!" She yelled at him "I HAVE NO MONEY NO PLACE TO LIVE NO ONES GONNA WANT SOMEONE WHO IS A COLLEGE DROP OUT BECAUSE TRUST ME I TRIED" she moped and sat down Depressingly, she was so done but if she left she would be living on the streets while People walked all over her, since the maids are already doing it, she sat at a window and looked out of it
