Staz looked up and sheepishly pulled his hand back towards him away from the bell he was abusing. He composed himself, stood up straight and smiled "Hey, we heard rumors about this shop having the largest, rarest gem or something and were kinda curious. I'm sorry if we got the wrong person, but you don't really hear about something so interesting around these parts..." Staz motioned at Frost. "My friend here is kinda obsessed with rocks and crystals, he's aspiring to be a Geologist, so when we heard about this gem, we just had to investigate. It's called the faith gem, right?" Staz turned to Frost and winked. He's probably get a lecture later about that lie, but for now he was enjoying it.
"It's it normal to take your partner for a drink?" he obliviously said partner, meaning work partner, even though Leken may interpret it as girlfriend/ boyfriend/ date if she wishes. He pushed the money forward and soon they received their drinks. He avoided eye contact with Leken and was looking at some of the paintings on the wall.
Briar grumbled about something was she tucked her whip away, putting the Bagh naka in her jackets pocket as well, "I've got some loose change if you want to take the bus" she fingers through it, making the coins tap against each other as she strode out into the street, they were outside the orphanage at this point and Briar wasn't on the highest of alerts. She stayed casual as if not caring, "The East borders furthest away from us, arrogant pig face just wanted to be a pain because he knows the Old Man"

Sitting lazily in his bedroom, Alopex was polishing his weapon. Despite just getting it, he wanted to make sure it was perfect before he had to use it on anyone, he also wanted to get his mind off of his new partner. He didn't know how his new 9 year old partner wasn't a soup, but guessed she might've just been here since a young age. Alopex stopped polishing, it had been minutes since he started and realized it was more shiny than sharp now. Sighing, he started sharpening it on a small table next to his bed.

"Ah, okay..." Fallen Angel sucked in a small breath, straightening a bit. "I'll be your companion, then." She said it in a small voice, bowing her head and moving closer to Tilly. "Are you sure this will be safe? Who are we masquerading as?"
Tilly smiled, "Not if the job means we're infiltrating" she grinned, straighting up and taking out a card before speaking in a posh a voice as she could manage, "I am Delilah Feathermoore, how can I be of service?" before breaking down in giggles, trying to muffle it with her hand as she gasped for breath. Her card for a fake ID.
She fingered her fake ID, "Don't you have an alias? Oh well. Just think of a name." Tilly put her borrowed mask in her backpack, "Won't be needing that. We're to get out of there if we meet a fight." she gave a smile, Are you ready to go meet my dad, Mr Featherbrooke of the department of experiments?" she put on a mocking overly posh British accent

"Adeline. Adeline will do." Fallen mumbled. "Adeline deMuse." She cleared her throat and attempted a smooth string of french. For now, that would have to do, and since she was going on a mission she'd have to act more confident. Fallen smiled, straightened her back, and posed before mentally cringing. "Let's go meet your father, then, Delilah."

Tilly snorted and laughed, pulling her arm through Fallens and giving her a wide grin, "Of course, my lady" she wrinkled her nose, attempting to turn it out and started overly strutting towards the main entrance.

Molly was sitting on her bed trying to calm herself down. "Relax. he's just what a lot older than you. You'll be fine." she told herself. However despite her desprate tries to calm herself down she was still terrified of her new partner. She thought it was odd she wasn't partnered with someone her own age but decided to think past that.
