Cerulean mutters something under his breath, then speaks up. "Everything's been peaceful for almost long as anyone can remember. Doesn't that seem. . .odd? Maybe it's about time for something negative to happen."
There's a huge Griffin, probably twice the size of Raymond sitting a bit in. In the darkness beyond, you can see a few other Griffins, but this one is obviously their leader. "Peryton," he growls.
I gulp and stick closer to Raymond

Nani starts snoring. Jocelyn tries not to laugh and mostly fails. The normal city sounds are comforting. It's hard to believe that this all happened today, and now you're a fugitive with your magical sister and a baker.

He just ....hangs and keeps watch. Oh and starts tying to carve bar of soap without wetting it.

"Don't even think about it, Aloysius," growls Raymond. "I told you, the peryton is under my protection."
"Now, what protection does a solitary Griffin have to offer? Join our flerd, young one. Abandon the deer."
All Raymond says is "No."
The rest of the flerd is watching intently.
