Asher blinked, stunned. "O-oh. Great." He said, placing the list in the bag. He decided not to pursue the issue much further. "I guess I'll just be heading home then. Nice meeting and chatting with you."
Someone's screaming. Multiple people are screaming, actually. A person you can't see that well is backed in the corner of their stall, people are looking around frantically and yelling, it doesn't take you long to connect the dots: someone must have gotten the disease. This is usually how everyone reacts, and it's spreading. Then someone spots you. "Elemental!" they scream, pointing.
Uh-oh.
Great. Astra thought we a groan. She quite hated her terrible luck, she wasnt quite sure she would be able to get the groceries and she didnt want to contract the disease so naturally she backed up

"Mmm, a peryton would feed our flerd for days," purrs the bigger Griffin.
"Don't even think about it, Aloysius," growls Raymond. "I told you, the peryton is under my protection."
"Now, what protection does a solitary Griffin have to offer? Join our flerd, young one. Abandon the deer."
All Raymond says is "No."
The rest of the flerd is watching intently.
What do you do?
I stand my ground, still next to Raymond, I don't advance but watch them closely in case they decide to attack, I whisper to Raymond "Why can't we just leave them?"

Cerulean scuttles up the stairs after him, his feet making no noise. He's still observing the area as they ascend.

He nods and waves. Assuming you go home, your mother is waiting for you in the doorway. "Hurry, Asher, we have guests," she calls.
