"you will do no such thing i will make sure to stand very far away from the pond" i inform her, grabbing a basket from the kitchen as we pass "and the plan was for us both to run in different directions because he couldn't chase both of us"

She picked berry's and put them in the basket as they walked "what do you think I was trying to do big head" she said still walking

(oh i was just going to end it with the pair walking off into the forest and back to civilization)


"don't call me a big head" i pout, pouring my half full basket of berries into hers "i think we have enough. i'll just toss handfulls of these into the water until you find the deck" i inform her, grabbing the basket "from a distance, though" i add, grinning. "ready?"

"Okay" she smiled and headed to the pond

as lily steps into the water, i begin tossing handfulls of berries into the water, drawing all the fish towards me. "great! now just kind of feel around until you find them" i say, shrugging. seems like a good idea to me, atleast.

She felt around the water before touching some cards,she pulled them out the water and walked out of the pond "found them!!" She said laying on her back

"good!" i exclaim, pouring the rest of the berries into the water as she steps out of the pond. "well, i guess this is it, huh?" i say, staring at the cards "let's just get these to Gabriel before we get all sentimental, alright?" i giving her a sad smile.

"yeah...." She says giving him a tiny side smile and getting up

we walk in silence to the throne room, where all three gods are waiting. when Gabriel sees us, he rises to his feet, holding the gem we pried from the throne earlier today. "you made it!" he exclaims, grinning broadly. the other two gods seem excited, and Angela leans over to say something to Lucio that makes him laugh.

"does this mean we get to go home now?" i ask, glancing between the gods and lily. "it does, but before we go, we have a few gifts for you you" he says, stepping forward and placing a necklace in my hand. it's silver, with a light blue gemstone in the middle.

he turns to lily, and gives her a similar looking necklace, but this one has a light pink stone inset in it. Angela steps forward next, handing us each one of the golden apples that look like the one i threw to distract the angry horse. "these will heal any wound, no matter how bad" she says, giving us a smile and returning to her spot beside the throne.

Lucio is last to step up, placing a familiar green and gold necklace in lilys hand. "i fixed your necklace for you..." he says, awkwardly "that way you wont forget". he turns to me, placing a large stone in my hand "this will pay for anything you need, just bring it to one of your human jewelers with a plausible story" he says, giving me a smile.

Lilly didn't know what to say, she just examined the necklace, she felt like she wanted to stay but also felt like she couldn't and had no clue why. Was it because she got attached to all the pour servants and the berry picking?.... Or maybe it was the fact that she made a awesome friend....or was it the man that decided to show up in her life at the last minute and got herself attached to him.....of course she could never tell she had many thoughts running threw her head at the same time. She just ran her thumb across the necklace in silence before looking at Everyone

"Thanks" she smiled a little and then stayed silent, she was to lost in thought to say anything else, 100 years would feel like feel like 10000 years to her but all she could do was wait right?
