"take this, too" he says, handing her a slip of paper with a ozone number on it "in case you ever feel like talking" he says. "you should go now" he chuckles, awkwardly. "uh, yeah" i say, numbly. the jewel in my pocket weighs heavy, a constant reminder of what we've been through.

"we'll walk you to the path" Gabriel says, coming to stand beside me. the walk is short lived, and when we get there i turn, wrapping my arms around Gabriel, who freezes, before awkwardly hugging me back. "i'll be seeing you" i say, stepping back awkwardly. "uh huh" he nods, looking like he doesn't understand what just happened.

with that, we're off, walking down the path towards home again. "so uh, i guess i'll be seeing you around too?" i ask "though i suppose i'll see you sooner than i see gabe" i laugh awkwardly.

Lilly took the number and smiled hugging him tightly before following after Jack, She smiled weakly "yeah I suppose so" she said "I hope so I'm really bad at making more friends anyways, my confidence is never there" she laughed a little looking down the path "well that's if you don't get hit by a bus or a falling tree right now" she joked
