By the time they had hit the forest Lei was fully awake and frantically thrashing her wrists to try and get rid of the rope, rubbing the skin completely raw as she did. While doing that she was also muffled screaming out a steady stream of unintelligible curses. Why the HELL did she sign up to this??? SHE KNEW IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

Lilly was next to matthew, matthew sat next to her protectively it wasn't the first he was kidnapped but he's glad it wasn't his crazy ex this time

the red haired woman steps out of the van, pulling us each out one by one and lining us up in front of the statue while the brown haired man cleans the moss and vines off of it, pausing to pull out his phone and texting someone.

a phone chimes from within the underbrush, and a older man with grey hair steps out of the woods, carrying a stack of books with him, old and new. rolled up under his arm is a map of the stars, with certain constellations highlighted and others crossed out.

"Siebren, how are we looking?" He calls out to the man, who looks up from his books, startled. "oh, uh, yes. we are looking good" he stutters, promptly returning to his books.

She stopped struggling once her wrists had started bleeding while achieving nothing and her stream of curses hadn't stopped but she was looking around at absolutely everything to try and find a way to escape. Due to her photography jobs she was good at noticing and quickly found what she was looking for on the grassy ground, a small stone close to her feet.

Lei wasn't going to try running with this many people but the statue seemed important so it was worth a test. She drew back her foot in her kitten heels before punting the stone as hard as she could right into the statue.

Adelia struggles a little bit, eyes slightly glazed but still furious. Even drugged and tied up, she still is incredibly stubborn.
Firenze stares stupidly up at the sky. Idiot.

Matthew rolled his eyes this must be a prank, he thought in his head before nudging lilly before getting a death glare and a kick to the ankle, the tape obviously stopped him from chuckling

Lilly glared at him and kicked his ankle and smiled under the tape, yes they where being kidnapped but they didn't get murdered yet so why not have a little fun she thought

one by one the woman rips the tape off everyone's mouth, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a brush and some odd red pigment and a brush. she starts with me, pouring a bit of water into the powder and mixing it up into a paint, which she dips the brush in and uses to paint an odd swirling symbol on my forehead. she does this to everyone in line, pausing to fix the symbols if we smudge them or they drip.

more than once mine drips onto my white shirt, making it look bloodied and no doubt staining it.

"what the-" she yells shaking her head making the paint go everywhere, lilly stuck her tongue out at her , Matthew rolled his eyes "you got paint in your hair" he says to her, "Duh that was the point" she says pushing him before acting like she didn't do anything

"do not mess up the paint" the red haired woman snaps, hurrying over to clean the paint flung everywhere with her sleeve. she carefully repaints the symbol on her head, taking great care with it's many swirls and twists.

then, she motions to the man with all the books - Siebren, i believe he was called- and he reaches into his bag, pulling out one snake, then another, both of which he gently hands to the red haired woman.

The second the tape was ripped off she stopped cursing and busily got to word getting all the sticky stuff off her face using her tongue and teeth before tolerating the paint on her forehead. Though once the lady walked away though she awkwardly folded her body to rub the paint off her forehead onto her clothes.

Lei was damn determined to piss off these arses! She actually looked kinda happy to see snakes though and her wide eyes failed to hide her liking of them.
