We've contained it, but you need to be careful, you know what happened last time there was a breach." Ignacia is huge, divided into 8 sectors in a circle. As there aren't really names for them, most people just call them by their compass direction. You live in the north sector. The last breach was around 10 years ago, there have been breaches before that but no others more recent than 70 years. A breach usually occurs when a larger, more powerful demon, which are usually much rarer, manages to break through a weak spot in the wards, usually clearing the path for smaller, weaker ones to get through. Last time, a demon in the form of a saber-toothed tiger broke through and was quickly subdued, but smaller ones were harder to catch and took multiple civilians by surprise, although there were no recorded deaths. People were not all confirmed safe for almost six months later. This caused many people to question whether they were really safe. And that was considered a small breach.
