You see another splash as you're heading towards it, and a silvery green tail flip water droplets into the air. Maybe a bigger fish, or something.




Cerulean excitedly bounds towards the spot. If it's another fish, maybe he could live off of these.

You see a blur and another splash, it looks too big and long to be a fish. Maybe a small serpent of some sort? Mini serpents can be found in all bodies of water and resemble miniature versions of their bigger sea serpent relatives.
