You've gotten to 600 before Raymond comes charging, limping slightly, out of the cave, grabs you with his beak and tosses you on his back, and takes off. There's a series of enraged growls before it looks like almost the entire flerd is coming after you.
Oh, dear.
I inhale sharply and grab my staff, ready to smack any griffin that gets to close.
(I may or may not have too much time on my hands :P Got a Discord or something?)

It dives back into the water leaving another splash and out of the corner of your eye you see the flash of reddish orange again.

Cerulean turns his head to the source of the flash. He walks away from the stream by a few feet, so not to enrage the 'guardian'. Hm, Ana. . . he thinks to himself. I wonder who that is.

It's gone, but you see something reddish floating towards the ground. Upon further examination, it's a feather.
