"what is it?" i ask, eyes wide. more and more smoke pours from the statue, before finally the smoke slows to a stop. there's a moment of absolute stillness, before one polished, steel toed boot steps out of the portal. then another. then, a man in odd, terrifying black clothing steps out of the red area in the statue.

he's wearing a leather shirt and pants, with polished steel toed boots and a white, owl like mask. he stretches, surveying the scene infront of him with a critical look, before his eyes land on the snakes. he stoops down, gently picking up the snakes and draping them around his shoulders.

"yeah heck no" Lilly said scared out of her mind "all I have to do is follow the tire tracks" she insisted to matthew before snapping a picture of the scene and they both took off down the path "so once we get reception we can call the police and inform them that there's people doing crazy witch craft l, and since I have proof they can do nothing but have to come" she said in sign language as they walked following the tire tracks

the man outstretches his hand, freezing the two in their tracks. with a snap of his wrist, the two turn back, walking towards us again. their eyes are glazed over as the stumble back towards us like they're drunk. i stare at them, eyes wide. what's wrong with them!?

Adelia's eyes snap back into focus, burning with a blazing mixture of fear and anger. Firenze tries to put his arm around her, and she shoves him over aggressively. She moves in closer to the others, hoping strength in numbers might help in this situation. "Right.
