Due to me joining right in the middle of the winter fest didn't have too much time to understand and get the sculpting concept so im only making one

I got a frost essence from doing something but i wont have time to use it or anything so how do i get rid of it?

i saw the essence exchange thing but i have no clue what to do with it

You won't have time to use it? Fest doesn't end until the 23rd, and sculptures take an upper max of 12 days to complete, and that's only if they get absolutely no tending at all from anyone somehow and progress entirely by themself on their auto-growth (since they get a little time bonus for an agent being used, and once their Quality is raised, Good quality doubles base growth rate, Great triples it and increases the agent bonus, and Perfect quadruples it, and has the same increased agent bonus.)

Essence exchange is for basically trading frost essences you have for ones you want- if you melt down a frost essence (>choose essence on sculpting page, >click 'melt frost essence' button, >confirm) you can use it as currency in the Exchange. Alternately you can sell the melted essence on the broker (probably for a pretty respectable price, because people want them for the essence exchange.)
You can also sell or trade the essence to other players using the 'trade selected essence' option


Or you can just. not do anything with it, and it will vanish into the void once fest ends

oh the 23rd?? whoops lol,i was thinking the sculpting thing ended on the 6th

well nevermind then, thank you though had no idea melting down the essences was nessceray to trade them^^

Only for trading in the essence exchange- if you're after a frost essence of equal value (regular > regular, fabled > fabled, majestic > majestic) it'd be more cost effective to check if there's anyone who has what you want who wants what you have (since it takes 6 melted regular frost essences to purchase one from essence exchange shop, and takes 4 melted fabled frosts to buy a fabled, whereas mutual player trades are one-to-one)
