Hi, I play this game for fun, but I mostly just work the Currency Exchange, 'cuz it's my jam. I'm noticing a huge drop in diamond prices, lately, (meaning gold is getting more valuable by comparison,) and I'm curious what people think is mainly causing it?
Do you think it's:
A) Good sales on $$-->diamonds in the Diamond Shop?
B) More people joining Sylestia than usual, and coming in with diamonds they purchased?
C) People really need gold for something that just came out?
D) People are less willing (or able) to grind for gold, lately?
Anyway, respond below with what you think is going on, and maybe how low you think it'll go. (1500/dia? 1200/dia? Will it come back up to 2000/dia, later this year?) |

I think it might be related to all the diamond shop sales recently. More dias for your money, plus reduced prices, plus incentives to spend a ton in some cases. More people bought diamonds, and probably figured they could sell the extra for gold.
Price fluctuations happen, sometimes it was >2100:1, now it's dipping a lot. I think it'll bounce back up to around 2000:1 again eventually, but that'll require people to buy all the cheap ones. |
