Hi! I was just wondering if there was a guide posted that tells you what gear goes on what element? IE Assassin on Earth, Myrmidon on Air, etcetera. TIA!
After you attune your pets to elements and set proficiency points up, you'll need to get them the appropriate gear. It's better to have higher level and rarity gear as the better the rarity/level is the more boost to the stats you'll have Here are efficient gears for each element, Lost Grove gears marked with an asterisk *
Shadow (magical damage)- illusionist / reaver*
Earth (physical damage)- assassin / warden*
Water (physical damage)- assassin or myrmidon / stormcaller or tidal*
Air (physical damage)- myrmidon / stormcaller*
Fire (magical damage)- evoker / pyromancer*
Light healer (magical damage)- evoker / pyromancer*
Light tank (magical damage)- illusionist / lightbringer* (accuracy boost) or reaver (avoidance boost)
Finding the highest level/rarity gears will provide your team with better boosts to their stats. Some good options for getting these higher level/rarity gears would be to complete daily dungeon runs (Nightfall Dungeon and Dungeon of the Forsaken) in order to have a chance at the epic/legendary/mythic gear drops, buying Sarielle epic gear from the Sanctuary of Sarielle (requires allied level reputation, gained from completing missions, quests, and raids in the Umbra Forest), Completing high level/rank missions in the town barracks and opening the reward satchels which can sometimes drop gears, and grinding in the Lost Grove/Festival areas and fighting elites/bosses in these areas.
Gears can also be found on the Broker for decently cheap depending on the level/rarity
Level 25
Nightfall Dungeon > epic/legendary/mythic pieces drop on occasion
Legendary rarity mission satchels from Esior's Haven, found in the Barracks > legendary pieces drop on occasion
Level 26
Sarielle Gear > epic gears available for gold in the Town Hall with the appropriate reputation
Level 50
Dungeon of the Forsaken > epic/legendary/mythic pieces drop on occasion
Legendary rarity mission satchels from Sanctuary of Sarielle, found in the Barracks > legendary pieces drop on occasion
Level 60
Grinding in the Lost Grove by defeating enemies, opening chests > rare exotic gears drop on occasion
Defeating elite spawns in the Lost Grove > guaranteed rare exotic gear drop per elite
Defeating bosses in the Lost Grove, summoned from defeating corresponding elites > guaranteed epic vinethorn gear drop per boss
Player Based Level (gear dropped will be whatever level the highest level pet is in your party)
Defeating Festival bosses during Festivals/Events (seasonal) > guaranteed epic/legendary gear(s) drop per boss
