You should definitely check out the guide to mission pets and missions, since missions are a major way many players make gold (especially once you have bought/unlocked all 6 mission slots and have access to the Hard and Very Hard missions)

5. if you're using healer fairies at all, best not, just waiting a bit for the pets to recover is longer, but free. Once you have a set of good mission pets and have them doing missions, you should also form a good backlog of healing items.
6. Your party setup may need work? Double fire has no inherent healing or defensive ability, so it's much more prone to taking a lot of damage, and the equips on the two nixi you currently have in your party are. Bad. (both much lower level than the pets and also almost all uncommon rarity. Uncommon equips are garbage, frankly; if you had the pick between equipping a lv65 pet with lv65 uncommon gear or lv25 legendary, the lv25 stuff would be the better option)
You'd want lv20 at lowest, and preferably epic or legendary rarity (again, missions are your friend here- along with the gold and healing items you can get from mission satchel rewards, they can drop equips of equal level to the mission, with Hard missions dropping primarily Epic, most of the remainder rare, and very rarely legendary, and Very Hard dropping ~50/50 epic-legendary gear))
