Hello! I have a question that I couldn't find an answer for. I saw several posts about how passing down genetics works and I was wondering if there's a possibility for a bred hatchling to spontaneously be born with a gene or mutation that their parents didn't have. I'm curious if that's a thing in Sylestia genetics. It'll also help me decide a few things about how I go about my projects.

N o. I don't think that's possible, unless you use some kind of trait philter on the pet offspring. But then, the pet was not originally born with the traits, either.

Heya! No, it's not possible for a trait to magically appear in offspring. Furthermore, genetic mutators can only be used on specific pets, usually first generation. For more info, here's a breeding guide.

I'm referring to the Restricted Trait philters/disruptors. The Genetic Mutators haven't popped up into my mind yet xD
