Hey, I have some questions about levels, ages, and stables.
Levels - how do I level up quickly? I get into one battle and I immediately die. I have two party members that are about level 30 and are fighting level 20-25 enemies and can never win any battles. I have good armor and everything, but still I can't win..
Ages - this one is short, but some pets I have that are or are not adults have numbers next to their maturity. EX : hatchling (140/648). I am not sure why they have this or what it means.
Stables - okay this one is about the bar underneath each pet. I don't know why, but some pets a heart is lit up (my male bolboris in the fist tab) and all my pets are breed able so I know it isn't that. I'm really unsure of what that means.
Thank you!! Have an Amazing day!!

I'm not great on battling advice (Scathreoite is best at that), but I did notice both of your pets are Light pets. Bad. You need an offensive (wind, fire) in your team and an defensive (light, earth, shadow) in your team. I think. Just don't use repeating elements. Your pets also have another proficiency point not assigned yet, so go ahead an do that.
(140/648) is the hours that they've been born. 648 hours is adult.
The hearts mean that they are set up for breeding. You've set them up for breeding, so that other players can breed their pets with yours.

I'll start with the easier questions, then come back to your level/battling question after:
Ages: The numbers next to the maturity is telling you their age in hours. An egg hatches at 72 hours. A hatchling becomes an adolescent at 216 hours. An adolescent becomes an adult at 648 hours (hence that being the bottom number). These don't always match up to the actual time that a pet has existed because these are their 'maturity hours' and can be affected by nurturing, magical pies, or even just the pet being found in the wild with a set number of maturity hours already. What it's telling you is that, if nothing is done to help it along, the pet will get to its next stage in that many hours (so if it's a hatchling at 140 maturity hours, if it receives no nurturing it will become an adolescent in 76 hours - how many hours away it is from 216).
Stables: The heart, specifically, means that that pet is listed for public breeding. The other icons mean:
Red bar: full = pet is fed; partially full = pet hasn't been fed for a certain number of days; empty = pet needs fed - it is starving (pet can't fight or be bred)
Skull and crossbones: if lit up it means this pet is unconscious
Crossed swords: if lit up, this pet is in your party
Satchel: if lit up this pet is on a mission
Plus sign: if lit up, this pet has unallocated proficiency points available
Shield: if lit up this pet is attuned to the element shown
Egg: only lights up on a female - shows that she is on a breeding cooldown / has been bred recently
Coin: if this is lit up, the pet is listed for public sale
Levels: so... I looked at the two pets in your party Light Protector and Rona
The very first issue I see is that they are both attuned to light. Light is a healer spec. In essence, you have two healers, and no attackers. The first thing to do is switch one of their elements to either air or fire. These are the attacker elements in Sylestia.
The next issue is their equipment. Light pets need intelligence to attack as they are magic based attackers, not physical based attackers.Light Protector specifically has a strength stat of 99, which is doing nothing for him, and an intelligence stat of only 73 - his lowest stat. If you look at his equipment, his relic is boosting physical damage (which he can't use), and his strength. His armor and first accessory are also boosting strength, which he cannot use. Only his second accessory is building up his intellect. This being the case, I would suggest switching Light Protector to air, as air pets use physical damage and strength to do their attacking.
Rona's equipment is fine for a light pet, though I would suggest looking for a relic that is just for magical damage, rather than splitting the stats between physical and magical the way it is now. Since Rona is set up properly for light, she should be in the first slot of your party, and Light Protector should be moved to the second slot as an air pet.
Once that is done, they should both have their second proficiency point (which has not been allocated) put to their strength/intelligence. This will help both of them do more damage.
Hope that helps!

adding on to the ages info already given, the reason some pets show the exact maturity hours in brackets and some don't is because a pet needs to be either genetically tested or a Generated pet for this information to be visible (hence Rona, a starter, showing the information- she's Generated- while Light protector, an Untested Tamed pet, does not)
Until such time that you might be able to obtain the infinite use test kit and/or scanner from the diamond shop, there are people who are willing to test pets for free in the Groups, Guilds, Clubs, and Services forum
As Mikazukichan mentioned, Light is primarily used as a Healer element when on a complete team, though it can be run as Tank/healer combo
elements>
Physical elements use the Strength and Physical Damage stats, so you want to give them gear that focuses on these- Early on, the types you will be after are Assassin and Myrmidon gear.
These are Earth, Water, and Air.
Magical elements use Intelligence and Magical Damage, and so should get gear focused on those. Early on, you want Illusionist and Evoker gear.
These are Shadow, Light, and Fire
the Tank elements are Earth, Water, Shadow, and sometimes Light
> Tanks go in slot 1 of the party and take the majority of hits. Proficiencies are typically some combination of HP, offense, and Agility
(agility controls Evasion and defences, and shares control of speed equally with the dexterity stat)
Exactly what combination of those stats depends on the pet and the player
> they are equipped with either Assassin (earth, water) or Illusionist (shadow, light)
Healer element is Light, though Water is sometimes used as a Buffer instead (though they need to be at least lv30 and have their second elemental move, Ice Barrier, to really be able to start doing that, and don't fully grow into the role for a good while after that.)
> Light Healers are typically proffed Int first, then dex later (water same but obviously str instead)
> Light Healers are typically equipped with Evoker but some Illusionist gear is fine in a pinch (healers and buffers don't need either agi like a tank or dex like an attacker)
Water Buffers would get Myrmidon, or Assassin
Attacker elements are Air and Fire
> Profs go to offense and dex, typically either 2 offense then a dex at lv60, or 1offense/1dex and then adding a second offense point at lv60. Could go 3 offense and start adding dex at 65, too, but the attackers do make use of dex, using critical hits to inflict their base attacks' debuffs.
(Dexterity controls Accuracy and Critical Hit chances, and share speed equally with agility)
> Equips are Myrmidon for Air, and Evoker for Fire
> Shadow and Water can also be used as Attackers in a pinch, but they aren't built for it the way air and fire are. Light can put out okay damage, but is slower than them. Earth is very much a Tank element, though, and would frankly make an awful Attacker.
Currently your two party pets are both Light, both have one unassigned prof point, and have several pieces of gear that's underleveled (10+ levels lower than the pet), low rarity (uncommon, rare), or the wrong sort for the pet.
Pick what team setup you're running, and seek gear of the right sort to equip that
In terms of equip levels/rarity
At lv30, up to about 44, some of the best gear you'll be able to get is Legendary lv25 gear, since that can drop from lv25 very hard mission satchels, and is generally fairly easy to get from the Broker because of this. There's also Mythical gear that you can get from the Nightfall Bandit Dungeon but the lv25 mythical gear types and what stats they give are a bit weird. (there's also special lv26 gear that you can buy from sanctuary of saerielle but you need a very high reputation with them to be able to buy it and it's non-tradable, so it's not really something you can use while progressing the main plot)
Lv45 to 49, you can get epic lv45 gear from lv45 hard sanctuary of saerielle missions (with a low chance of legendary drops). These are less common to see on the broker since people tend to go for the Very Hard missions rather than the Hard ones
Lv50-59, it's legendary lv50 gear, once again courtesy of missions (lv50 very hard), along with lv50 Mythical gear from the Dungeon of the forsaken
Lv60 you transition to being able to use Lodst Grove equips but that, I think, is for a later time because i've been typing for like and hour now.
