So question. When is the game coming out of Beta? What can I expect will happen when it does?

The ancient myths tell of a time when Sylestia will come out of Beta. A time when legends will be born and villains will quiver with fear in their lairs. A time when dreams will either come true or be vanished into dust. When mountains will rise and storms ravage the countryside. When the fate of the world will rest in the palm of he smallest of creatures. Will we ever live to see such an era? The prophets are contradictory. Some believe it will happen in a few years time but most seem to have given up hope at ever living long enough to enjoy the fabled age.

In layman's terms: we don't know. Krin is working on getting things the way he wants them for the game proper, but we don't know how long it will take, or what form it will be when it does happen.

The current roadmap is as follows, roughly:

-Release the 4th Dungeon of the Ancient Temple for the Lost Grove.

-Release the 5th Dungeon of the Ancient Temple for the Lost Grove.

-Overhaul the Hatchery feature, overhaul the Breeding Grounds feature, and release the Pet Broker feature. These three will probably be lumped together as one major release.

-Overhaul the Inventory system, overhaul the Trading system (and Trade Broker), completely rebuild the Exploration system from scratch (includes rebuilding the zones, exploration structure, combat, items, and more), and overhaul any other complimentary systems to these changes so that everything is all synced up. This will also be one massive release as the systems will all be interconnected. When this releases, it will be the end of Sylestia beta.


And of course, throughout this period of time, we will still be working on other side projects, releasing new artwork, running Events and Festivals, etc.

Sounds cool =^_^= I'm really impressed with the game. It's like, Pokemon and Neopets put together...but kinda better lol. Love all the artwork and stuff. Can't wait to see what the future holds whatever form it comes in

So while we're on the subject, I have a question. You plan on making new species? Maybe something more snake like or bat like? Snakes and bats are cute. Those Vokids you can fight are kinda cute too

We will definitely release more species down the road. But atm, we are focused on other projects. There probably won't be a new species until we relaunch the site and leave beta.

Yea the ferrets right now are "the last" and latest new pets right now. And unfortunately bats and snakes were not very popular with the players and Aries are "very snake like"

You talking about the Aridini? Or however its spelled? They remind me more of Chinese dragons or hydras
