notes: two Tank elements and a Light pet proffed as a Tank rather than as a Healer
Earth and Shadow are both Tank elements
Since this is the Undead army, swap one of them to Air element (Fire is a perfectly good attacker element, it's just the best strategy for the undead army becomes rather difficult to pull off when there's one in the party)
An Air pet should be equipped with Myrmidon gear, and proffed either 2Str or 1str/1dex
(Fire pets are the same but with Evoker gear rather than Myrmidon)
For the elements they currently are, for the job you'd want the elements to do (tank earth, healer light, tank shadow), these are the changes you'd want:
Cocoy:
Profs: fine
Relic: extremely average. Replace with Northern Ocean's epic Assassin relic
Armor: fine, it's not an assassin equip, but it's okay? Would be better replaced by a lv25 legendary assassin relic though (which would give a few points more to the str and agi, with less to int and dex)
acc.1: Move to Plete, replace with Northern Ocean's epic Assassin bracelet
acc.2: Move to Plete, replace with preferably a lv25 legendary assassin bracelet, but failing that, with Plete's Myrmidon
- Earth is pure Tank element. It's not designed for doing any other battle position. They need Strength for their move output, and agility for evasion and defence. HP profs can help with survivability.
Plete:
Profs: Swap to 2int for best healing
Relic: good; though not quite as good as a lv25 legendary Evoker, it's pretty close
Armor: replace with lv25 legendary Evoker
acc.1: Give Cocoy's epic Evoker bracelet, or replace with lv25 legendary Evoker
acc.2: replace with lv25 legendary Evoker bracelet if possible, failing that give Cocoy or Northern Ocean's rare Evoker bracelet
- Though Light tanks are 100% a thing, the most common type of Light setup is the Light Healer- Int and Dex, move output, accuracy, and critical hits. This allows the highest amount of damage output for the highest amount of healing.
Northern Ocean:
Profs: Probably fine I know jackall about shadow tank prof setups
Relic: Move current equip to Cocoy. Replace with a lv25 leg. Illusionist relic or better
Armor: Replace with a lv25 leg. Illusionist relic (or better)
acc.1: Replace with a lv25 leg. Illusionist relic (or better)
acc.2: Replace with a lv25 leg. Illusionist relic (or better)
- Do best as tanks. Shadow can technically pass as an attacker but it is. definitely not made for the job. Any damage a shadow attacker can do, a fire or air attacker can do better and faster.
They need Int for damage output, more damage per hit means more healing per turn via their siphoning debuff infliction, and as with all Tanks, agility for evasion and defence.
Lv25 legendary is what we suggest pretty much entirely because it's about the easiest good equipment to get for pets lv25-49; it drops from lv25 very hard esior's haven mission satchels, so it's typically pretty easy to either get yourself or off of the broker
(lv45-49 pets can also use the epic or legendary lv45 equips that can sometimes drop from lv45 hard sanctuary of saerielle mission satchels. Once you hit lv50, you can use lv50 legendary equips, which drop from lv50 very hard mission satchels, and lv60+ you can swap to the lost grove type equips instead)
Main general strategy for the Undead Army wave mob(s) is "aim for one single enemy slot and keep attacking that one slot." Do not aim for either of the other two slots at all (hence why a Fire attacker makes this rather difficult- they're a multi-attacker by nature and design)
This forces the stronger enemies to bottleneck, coming one-at-a-time rather than overwhelming you with two or three strong enemies at once |
