Hi there, I'm Moony. I like silly breeding games and rpgs and this is a wonderful combination of both.
I love a lot of the pet designs here and I figure it's only a matter of time before I collect heaps and heaps of them LOL.
Learning the ropes of value/breeding/buying is uh... a work in progress LOL.
Aside from all that, I like to draw and write! I might draw some of my guys some time.
Really want some Kelparis and Luporas in my stables! I definitely have favorites already! I've acquired some, I can't wait to get more!
Thanks guys! This seems like a pretty wholesome and wonderful site.

Welcome! It's a definitely a learning curve for pricing and figuring out what will sell and what won't. But the people here are among the friendliest I've ever seen in an online community, so don't be afraid to ask any questions at all. :)

Hullo, Moony. Just wanted to say welcome . . . and to point out that you've joined Sylestia right at the beginning of one of the four Seasonal Festivals. If you find anything about the Spring Festival confusing, feel free to PM me with questions. I joined near the beginning of a Festival, and things can be quite confusing!

Thank you! I'm trying to bumble my way through it. I have a seed planted already and am trying to take care of it. I also picked up an egg! the only thing I 'm having real trouble with is the bosses that are guarding the eggs. They're really tough, I think my guys need better equipment to take them on.

Hi there, welcome to sylestia!
I'm Briarwood, but I go by Briar as well. And I agree...breeding and value are confusing, but the community is lovely and if you have questions don't hesitate to ask them. Also, it's the beginning of a festival right now, which can be confusing, so I'd recommend reading the overview to start with. Besides that, if you're still looking for gear I can send you some stuff, it might helped with the bosses, which can be quite challenging.

I absolutely would not say no to gear. I'm doing okay, but big bosses (the named in the event, dungeon bosses, etc) give me a harder time than I think I'm prepared for. My gear is decent, but it's not optimal.
I think I'm doing okayish in the event? I caught a themed Sylvorpa and am growing a Draeyl. The level scaling is super useful for grinding, though. Wanna be able to get to the lost grove!

I've sent you some gear- the lightbringer should go to Celeste and so should the pyromancer, even though she's a light pet. The tidal lord gear should go to Cheval. I've also given you some stormcaller gear, which won't fit Adahl'en since they're attuned to earth, but I recommend you switch them or get a pet for air/fire. These are damage dealing elements and since you already have a tank and healer, a cannon would be a good next choice. Here's a helpful guide to elements and proficencies.

Thank you so much! AND thank you for the guide! I thought I was kind of bumbling through with the standard support/DPS/Tank lineup (Thought Earth was the tank, it's water, lol) and was enjoying thorncoat (thorns is one of my favorite buffs ever in anything) but I was considering shadow or air, since fire's damage spread might be counterproductive to catching stuff, especially in the current event.
This was extremely helpful, thank you so very much! <3
