While looking through pets to breed my pet with, I noticed that some traits are hard to find. I think that others may have this problem. So I want to catch pets with traits to increase size of the breeding pool. Because its quite disappointing when the only other pet with the trait you want to breed happens to be a parent or sibling. :(
But I have a pretty hard time telling if a trait is common (shouldn't even waste traps on it) or rare (use as many traps as it takes). So can you guys and gals help me out by telling me traits that you are looking for and traits that you don't see too often. Thanks in advance.

Wing traits are neat on Zolnixis, I myself own a butterfly-winged male adolescent.

generally speaking, harder to obtain traits are two things :

1) New(newer) released.
2) The more recessive, the more rare it is.

And the two go hand in hand. Recessive traits are newer traits. When traits are released they are the most recessive of the traits possible for that slot.

So when you are looking at the generator drop down list, the trait on the top is 1) the oldest, and 2) the most dominant.

Also, I think it's interesting that your doing this because it is actually my mission to breed in large gene pools so that I always have what people are looking for. (for specific pets of course)

Currently working on ny'vene, griffi, zolnixi, lupora, and bulbori lines. Will soon start working on puff, nephini, slyvorpa, and Lunemara as well. Am also considering morkko and nytekrie lines some time in the near future.

Krin said he is working on a new search feature so I'm kinda waiting to see if there is an option to search by trait before I really start to get into too much of these lines.

Ping me if you want to use males or anything like that.

This is a fairly new undertaking for me so while I have already started laying a good foundation, I do not have much in the way of offspring. But I do have some males that you, or anyone who needs can use for studding. (mostly nixi and lupora at this time)

Thanks for the information, that will be very useful. That explains why there are so many Nixis with Tri-Tails.

I just ran into a bit of a snag. Lack of room in the Stables. XD I'm gonna hafta save up some money to buy the diamonds to buy another stable. Till I get that done, i'm going to put this on hiatus. Except when I find a visual or new trait. >_> Anyway, most of the ones that I caught or placed into the Trait Hunter program are in Stable 1 Tab 3 and Stable 2 Tab 1. I also decided to open as many of my other pets up for breeding as I can . Hopefully the ones that are there can help you if you are looking for a particular trait. Let me know if you have any advice on anything.

I decided to buy stables using my paypal. Now I shall have to reload it next month. But it will be worth it to continue trait hunting. ^o^
