I used to play a game like this years ago. There was an extension download that was passed around. That would care for eggs and things without you having to interact with anything. You'd simple turn it on and you'd make money. I am wondering if that is something that is against the rules here. I would assume it is because if you're able to nurture pets using a "Hack" it would probably ruin some events. If it is against the rules to do here.. Is there a way we should go about reporting them? I'm assuming their is also something to protect things like that. I'm sure some decent level of security. But Idk how any of these extensions or security things work. I just remember the game I played didn't have a reporting system for some reason. I was too scared to download the extension just cause I didn't wanna lose my account. I did look at terms and service about things like this. I didn't see anything but I might have missed something. But my friend who plays with game with me brought up how some people could have gotten on the board due to such extensions. It made me think about that other game. I thought I'd bring it up either way. Just in case no one thought of it before or something idk. Hope it helps and hope to get some answers.

From the Terms of Service:

I. Rules of Conduct
G. You may not use any type of cheat, script, hack, or anything that is designed to play the Site for you or give you an unfair advantage.

Using a bot script of any kind would violate this rule. So please do not do that. =P

It's worth noting that the suggestion that some people on nurture boards (or honestly any board) could have gotten their spot through some sort of cheat/bot might be offensive-- especially since people genuinely put so much effort into their boards and will get flamed for 'winning too much' even though they did all the hard work in the end. I understand your friend probably doesn't know this and you/they may have the idea that it could happen because of personal experiences on other sites-- but just a word of caution because people do get genuinely harassed for stuff. That's a huge reason why the boards are anonymous until the end.

I believe there was a user at some point while was messing around with both stuff, but they were quickly banned. If anyone was using cheats/bots it wouldn't be a secret for long. There are some user-made extensions that help modify make sylestia a little more user friendly like Taptothebeats extension and Tigress' extension, but I know all the features proposed/coded in were run by Krinadon himself first to check if they were alright. They're more quality of life changes-- being able to see hiddens on a pet, having a hatchlings image automatically change to it's adult image to see mutations, minor hotkey changes, a trait randomizer on the generator, crossing out avatar items you already own on the broker, auto filling a pets name when releasing etc etc

And they're freely available too all players on site

Of course I totally understand what you're saying. I promise I wasn't trying to sound accusatory. And I don't think my friend was trying to come off that way either. I couldn't even imagine the amount of work it takes to be on that board to be totally honest with you. It's not fair to accuse people of such things. Thank you for commenting Drowned I always enjoy hearing what you have to say and share. <3
