Is there a guide to understand url and img links and how they work? I want to help a friend as they can't get anything to work (when we rp) and i can't explain anything right

assuming you mean the sylestia ones
the URL button [url*][*/url] (using *'s to break the tags for viewing purposes) makes a direct link, no bells and whistles, just the url

IMG button [img*][*/img] does a regular non-link image

[*img]https://www.sylestia.com/images/items/icons/1/1/mini_crystalline_behemoth.png[*/img]

In the forums
URL= button [*url=][*/url] does a text link

[*url=https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?forum=11]qa forum[*/url] = qa forum


and IMG= button [*img=][/img*] does an image link

In PMs and profiles, the above-mentioned url= and img= tags do not work.
Instead, Add Link is the equivalent of url=
eg [urllink=https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=103767&page=1#1]threadlink[/urllink]

and image link is img='s equivalent
eg [imglink=https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=103767&page=1#2]https://www.sylestia.com/images/website/accinfo_scrollicon.png[/imglink]
