I have a couple questions i guess technically i would be a newbie, i used to play sylestia a long time ago on a completely lost account.

Now im getting back into it and it feels pretty different! And i have a couple questions that im struggling to find information or guides on, unfortunately lol

When do you get access to other traps then the lesser traps? I feel like im farther in the story then i got way back when but im still limited on items. My reputation in the first city is friendly now but i havent seen a change in items in the shop. Id like to get some of the higher traps because i did a raid thing yesterday and was pretty sad i couldn't catch any of the rare sylesties that popped up.

Oh and when do you start seeing higher rarity sylesties?

And when do you unlock the ability to buy the 3rd party slot for battling?

you can buy blue traps in the market of Sanctuary of Saerielle within the Umbra Forest.
after that you can buy purple traps in the market of Ethernia in Astyrl's Vale.
later on there are even more traps you can buy for different things and Master Quality traps can be purchased from the diamond store (or received as a prize during events).

you can typically see higher rarity creatures the further through the map you go, however it is still rare to see anything higher than a purple star in even the end zone. you have the chance to encounter a mythic or legendary sylesti in any zone (as far as i'm aware), it just is super rare.

and you can purchase the 3rd party slot in the Sanctuary of Saerielle in the Plaza. ^^

Traps are available in town Markets, and require no town reputation to buy.

For the non-Lost Grove-specific traps, Lesser snares are available in all Markets, Standards are available starting in Sanctuary of Saerielle, and Greaters are available Ethernia.

All non-Lost Grove traps can be bought from vendors located in region 3 areas and the Festival Zones when they are available.

(the Lost Grove traps are not relevant here, but become available for purchase after the Lost Grove is unlocked from Ethernia, and once the Lost Grove barracks and the Trading Post component are constructed, from there)
