there's a lot of player guides in the "Player Guides" section of the forums, these are some of the ones that i think might be the most helpful for you (without having to type out a wall of text lol):

This is the general guide for New Players by Bunne, it explains what Max Stat pets are, how to breed, and how to nurture. It also has general information about the different areas of the map (Up to the Lost Grove, which is currently the final zone available). There is also some information about Festivals (There are four major festivals every year for each of the seasons; but there are mini events between them).
The first post of this forum also explains how to pick pets for your party and what the stats mean, what proficiency points are, and a lot of useful information for pets (growth rates and how to catch pets).

This is a guide that goes into further detail for the combat system (by Rixva) on the site regarding the different elements you can attune your pet to, what generally are good ways to build them, and the different kinds of gear to use with your pets.

This thread is similar but specifically for the combat systems in The Lost Grove by Unstaeble, it has the best ways to build your pets for the final zone of the map and strategies to beat the various enemies and bosses.

This is a guide that explains what Pet Regeneration is and the various revamps for the site by Scathreoite, I've included it because you may have some pets that can be regenerated. The incoming Faelora revamp may also effect your pets. :)

This thread goes into further detail about missions that is helpful for making gold (the guide is written by Hundenelsker). Sending pets on missions consistently is the best way to make gold on the site and can yield quite a bit if you get into the habit of collecting pouches and sending pets out.

This thread explains how to nurture pets and how to use the Nurturing Grounds by Maimah, this is mostly useful if you want items in the Scale Shop or want to participate in the Nurture Boards during festivals. It's a decent way to make money if you have the time to kill (a lot of people will pay gold for the items in the Scale Shop because most people don't like nurturing). There is also the benefit that your pets may grow faster if you consistently nurture them.

I know this thread for mentoring players who are new or not familiar with the site is still active if you'd like assistance with the systems on the site, however you may also ping me or ask any questions you may have.

I can also get more specific with certain things if they get confusing, there's a lot of moving parts on the site and it can be difficult to use them all at once when you're starting. ^^

Is there a way to send someone money

the intended recipient sends the person who is giving them gold an item with the CoD for the amount they're to receive, generally using a very low-value item like a fairy mushroom.

How do I make the text bigger and color

^ this bar is at the top of the forum text box, when you're typing out a forum post you want to click on the AA where one A is red and it will open the Hex code input to change the color of the text. two boxes will show up like this:

any text you want to change the color of will go where the "XXX" is, to pick out the color you want you'll have to manually enter a hex code, copy/paste one in, or pick one of the preset ones.


its similar to when you want to change the size of text, you click on the box with the two As where one A is larger than the other. it will come up with a text box like this:

and the text you want to change the size of goes where the "XXX" is. you can change the font size from anywhere between 10 and 36, i believe 14 is the default.


you can also combine these so long as the beginning tag and the end tag mirrors the orientation on the other side, so if you have color first in the opening tag you'll want it last in the closing tag.

I forgot how to do a Genetic test

you have to do it through a pets profile page, its towards the bottom left of the "Information" box.

if you have an Exceptional Genetic testing kit it should automatically test any new pets you breed or catch, but you have to manually test pets you buy or already owned. if you dont have an Exceptional kit, you can ask if anyone will test for free or check out the people in the Services Forums. ^^
