"Heavenly" refers to the theme of the pet itself, it'll have a tag that says its a special pet with a specific color scheme.

with the traits, if you get a 3-trait egg with a theme that has 6 traits, it will have any 3 of those six traits when it hatches.

with colors, theres a mechanic on the site that makes it so its super unlikely any two pets will have exactly the same colors (since its based on hex colors, it will be roughly the same but not exact) and it is referred to as "Color Swing." it makes it so offspring are a little more interesting because the colors they have will be a mixture of both of the parents, but sometimes with themes the colors will be noticeably off. most people don't care unless you intend to do a project with the pet and it is *very* off.

YureiNeko- you're thinking of Majestic themes there, with the possible traits

Astralcrescent- Since Heavenly rikki isn't a Majestic (restricted trait) theme, the six traits on the display image of the theme is just to show off the colours.

Colour accuracy refers to the potential colour swing; all themes have an inherent small range of colour swing, Dyes and essences have a range of colour swing depending on the tier, with Regular essences and Lesser Dyes having the most. Starters do have colour swing, but only a very small range (they're on par with or better than Mystical+Divine essences, which have the best colour accuracy of the essences.)

We're certainly not bothered, we kind of spend a lot of time haunting the Q&A forum TO answer questions.

We can try to break the explanation down differently or in smaller bits if that would help? Different people will understand things in different ways, it's just a matter of working out the right wording or examples.

You do have options:

Philter of Trait Disruption (Themed)

- obtained from the diamond shop, from other players (eg, the broker), sometimes from Festival and Event games as prizes, sometimes from Seasonal Festival activities

- randomly reshuffles traits of a Generation 1 themed pet among the viable options for that theme (eg, Heavenly Ferrikki would pick from all possible non-restricted traits, as it's a regular theme, Lovely Arcanist Ferrikki would pick from the Arcanist trait set since it's a Majestic theme (theme designed to have a specific Restricted trait set))

- No restriction on use, you can use however many on a pet as you want


Trade with Players

- cheapest option, being free

- using the Pet Marketplace forum you could see if anyone would want to direct trade with another person, your pet for an equivalent one, eg, your 3v heavenly rikki for a 3v heavenly rikki you like better


Restricted Trait Disruptor

- more expensive/ higher risk, more difficult to obtain

- obtained from diamond shop, from other players via Marketplace or the Broker, and very rarely from Seasonal Festival activities

- RTDs will take one trait a pet has, and give it a random trait from the RTD's set in return in an empty trait slot. The trait removed does not correlate with the trait received, beyond making it possible for the RTD to pick that slot.

- Pet cannot have an RTD of a set it already has in its genetics used on it. Pet must have at least one non-restricted visible trait for the RTD to replace


Since you're a newbie and I can spare one, I could send you a Philter of Trait Disruption that you could use on the ferrikki if you'd like? (Philters and Disruptors (and Mutators) are used on a pet by going to their page and selecting the Genetic Philter button, which gives a popup with a dropdown that includes all Philters, Mutators and Disruptors that are viable to use on the pet that you have in your inventory)
