I was doing some simple breeding just to test out the system, and I came across some results I didn't expect, so I wanted to do a genetic test. I've got the test kit you receive early in the game, but I was wondering if/where I can get others so I can make a smart decision about using the one that I do have.

i'm not sure of any way you can get them other than from events, but you could always ask someone who has an unlimited use kit to test them for you. ^^

Hi, I know that currently, *Prize Spoiler* you can obtain 5 Genetic Test kits from the Easter Egg Hunt that is currently active:

You can also purchase an Exceptional Genetic Testing Kit(Infinite Uses) from the Diamond Shop in the Items and Kits section:

Diamonds can be bought by either buying them with actual money, or from other users with gold through the currency exchange:

But, other users do offer free genetic testing here, so even if you run out of the single-use kits and don't own an infinite kit, you can still have your pets tested:
Groups, Guilds, Clubs, and Services

Oh, and as for your reply to Cian, the way you have another user genetic test a pet for you is rather simple after it's been explained.

When you go to the profile page of the pet you want to set up to be tested, you press the blue button that says "Manage Pet". You then put the user ID of the person who'll be genetic testing your pet in the "Sell to User ID" slot and also put the pet up for 1 gold in the "Sale Price" slot.
They'll then buy the pet, genetic test it, and then set it back to your user ID for 1 gold so you can buy the pet back after it's been tested,
You can find another user's ID by going to their profile.
You should send a link(s) for the pet you want to be tested as well. You can make a link clickable by using the blue URL button that's above your forum posts, as well as in PM.

It would look like this, minus the periods I'm using to keep the URL brackets visible(Brackets in bold for clarification);
