I am a returning player so I forgot quite a few things and also am unfamiliar with a few things that where not there before.

Case in point: Trait extractor

It does have an explenation, but as I am appearently an idiot I am still confused.

What are restricted wild traits? Is that any trait thats on a tamed/exclusive pet? Or any trait on a wild sylestie (and I would have to use it during combat?)

Like for example if I had an exclusive themed pet that I wanted to give the bandana trait. I cant use a greater genetic mutator here because it's exclusive, not tamed. So it does not work.
So Could I instead extract the bandana trait from another tamed pet and give it to him/her?

Or is bandana never a restricted trait and thus that would not work? And it would only work on special traits that are like fest exclusive or certain themed exclusive?

Lost Grove Restricted Traits are Restricted traits* that are primarily obtained via finding them on wild pets the Lost Grove (but can sometimes also be obtained on specific event themes from, say, collecting a set of nine objects and combining them)

Currently the only Trait Extractors that exist are for these traits specifically.

Bandanna, being a regular trait, cannot be extracted.

(*restricted traits (general term) refers to the traits in the generator that are red text/have a * after them. They cannot be found in the wild, aside from the LG res traits in the Lost Grove and Spring Blossom trait during Blossom events during Springfest. They cannot be Mutated onto pets using Lesser or Greater Mutators. They can only be Generated on a pet by using specific items (Restricted Trait Disruptors and/or Trait Scrolls that match the desired traits))
