just wondering is it normal to get an error box saying my trap didn't have a target when I did set the target, it happened 3 times, I was trying to catch one of those venom spitter things,it was level 25, I don't understand what I was doing wrong is it the level or something else, I'm so confused

Sometimes traps can fail, (More expensive traps have either a greater chance catching pets/or catching pets of higher rarity) but I think your main problem is that Vorkoids (I assume you're talking about Vorkoids) aren't catchable. I hope this helps!

Were you trying to catch something that looked like one of these?
Vorkid Pouncer Vorkid Web Spinner
Vorkid Drone Vorkid Venomspitter
Vorkid Shifter Vorkid Lurker
Vorkid Shadowfiend Vorkid Shadowweaver
If so, the likes of Vorkids, Myconids, Forest Sprites, Earthen Constructs, and Water Sprites, can not be caught because they aren't Sylesties. If you try to catch one, you'll get the same error box that you did.

Ah, yes, it is a bit disappointing since Vorkids do have a rather interesting design. While you can't have a Vorkid as a pet, there are some Vorkid-themed avatar items you can possibly obtain from battling:
- Vorkid Fang - Held - Precolored
- Vorkid Webbing - Outfit - Recolorable
- Vorkid Wings - Wings - Recolorable
If it's any consolation on losing out on obtaining a Vorkid as a pet, I sent you the Vorkid Webbing outfit. You'll have to accept it from Player Trades under the trades tab. After that, it'll be added to your inventory where you can then add it to your Wardrobe. ^-^
For reference, in the Generator(Link), you can view all the different Sylesti species. At the top of the generator, just choose the option "View List of Species", and you can see all the possible types of species you can currently get in game.
Also, when replying to someone in the forums, hit the blue @ at the bottom of their post, or type their username in the Ping Users box when typing your forum post. If you don't ping someone in your reply to them, they won't get a notification you replied, and they could easily miss your reply by accident.
