Hello =^-^= Obviously, this is a kind of thing people have been doing for a long time, and I finally decided I want to do my own after looking at a few other's threads.

I go by Jenrette here on Sylestia! You can call me Jen for short. The reason I picked this username is because I've played World of Warcraft since I was 9 years old, and in a recent expansion "Shadowlands" there was an item called "Jenrette's" something or another. Jenrette is pretty close to my IRL name, so I thought it was funny and immediately named a character after it. My sylestia name is also named after that item.

I had a friend who played Sylestia when I was in middle school, and I checked it out but never made my own account. She doesn't play anymore. When I was bored one random night, I remembered it and came and made my account. It was also the same night my partner and I adopted our third cat, Gumdrop.

More about the person behind the screen...

* I started playing Sylestia 4/24/2023, the same day we adopted our third cat, Gumdrop.

* My cats, adopted in this order, are named: Diet Coke, Tangy (after the animal crossing cat), Gumdrop, and Pepsi.

* I've noticed that Vul's aren't really as popular of a species here, but I have a super soft spot in my heart for cats (all cats) and I think that's why I like Vul's so much.

* We also have a husky named Sky, who was given to me by a relative who could no longer take care of her.

* Usually, I don't like sharing too many details about myself, but I think my pets are an exception. Everyone deserves to know the glory of my pets!! Haha.

* I am hesitant to accept friend requests if we've barely interacted, unless it has been several times and always postive, so please do not randomly send them to me. TvT

* My favorite color is pink! I'm obsessed with strawberry designs, love watermelon flavored things... I guess those are a few fun facts, lol!

My all time favorite species are Ryori's. I love them SO much. That being said, here are my favorite project designs so far that I'm currently working on!

Winter Warning Ryori



The Winter Warnings will always hold a special place in my heart. They were the first project I started on Sylestia, the first one I designed for myself! And it makes me so happy knowing that I'm making something to make myself happy. (sounds ironic.)

Since I never have wrote it anywhere else, I'll plop it in here. The Winter Warnings are head-cannoned by me to appear when fall is over, often signaling the first blizzard of winter. Inspiration for that little lore was actually Absol from Pokemon, who always appears before a natural disaster.

This is my most recent project design and holy cow am I obsessed with it! I just think it's such a cool freaking design and I cannot wait to progress this project!!!

Even though I only chose two of my projects to show off here, you can see the rest of the designs here! This is my project thread (please do not reply to it). I have ADHD and doing multiple projects at once pleases it, but I also really enjoy hatching eggs. My partner said it was similar to a gachapon, lol! However, even though I enjoy doing multiple projects at once, it also gets quite overwhelming. x,x
