Hey! I recently came across Sylestia and dug up my old account because i remember really having fun with it for a while before life became too much and I had to quit :((

Id appreciate it if someone can fill me in on some of the major changes!! Im also really confused about most stuff right now, especially what I should be doing next. I think I was stuck somewhere in the Lost Grove before I left?

> Nytekrie and Faelora have had their Revamps. Pets that can be Regenerated use the newest iteration of the regenerator. Most Nytes and Faes can only reassign TP based on the traits they had before the revamp, but you can now have hidden traits, not just vis and carries.

> The Temple, the third area of the Lost Grove, was released. You need to complete all previous staged of the Lost Grove to access the Temple
Under the scope of the Temple other additions include:
- One new theme for every species, found exclusively in the Temple (yes. Every species can be found wild within the temple, as both themed and unthemed, though the fableds are like. rarer than a wild neph outside it)
- Six new Majestic rikki themes, which drop only from the Final Boss. They have the restricted Elemental trait set, the first and currently only trait set that is affected by what element the pet is assigned.
- +Stat range of Themed Legendary and Mythical pets was increased to match with the +stat range the Elemental rikki themes have (pets found prior to this release have +50-+75, range is now +60-+90)
- obviously assorted new avatar items
- Priomordial gear, the mythical tier Lost Grove equipment
- Tiers 4 and 5 of the barracks buildings (Temple needs to be unlocked for these to be buildable, as you need items dropped from the temple to construct them)
- Level cap now lv75

> bunch of abilities got tweaks as Krin did some balancing adjustments

> There is now a Lost Grove material exchange available in the barracks (found by just scrolling down on the Barracks's main page), where you can trade your LG items to the barracks for tokens (currency tracked by the barracks) and can use that to purchace most types (but not all) of other items from the list.

> Trait extractors and Trait scrolls for Wild Restricted Traits now exist

> Hatchery got a revamp

> Festival login reward became a fixture of fests (the premium rewards payment is specifically for the one event, and does not carry over to future events)

> uuuhh, a bunch of more minor stuff? those are most if not all the big ones I think

(more on all res/maj stuff can be found here)

(also as a heads up, it looks like you have forgotten to assign your air pet, Celes's, lv65 proficiency point)

your team should be absolutely fine, being near-max or higher.
(Higher stats absolutely make the journey easier, but I am the example of them not being necessary, having bested every challenge up to and including Vexxar (the aforementioned Final Boss, who is a big ol' jerk; very tough, very tedious, takes some learning. 24 million HP and a nasty tricks abound) with my main team, who have average base-79 stats. The biggest thing supermaxes bring to the table is definitely their HP, because HP's level bonus is exponential growth calculation that's rooted in the amount of base(+bonus) HP the pet has, compared to the flat increase of the other stats)

Better to put the gold investment into pet equipment- base Stoneweave's a lot cheaper these days since Temple named bosses can drop it, for one thing. You can also buy Primordial gear from other players though the asking price is typically 200k+ minimum per base piece because of the construction costs (gold ingots cost so much to forge ough)(upgraded SW also goes for a hefty amount for that same reason)

You may want to invest in ranking another tank at some point, water or earth element? I don't use shadow so there's only anecdotal note from me that shadow isn't as good in comparison for Temple bosses. Not an immediate thing, and you'd really need to ask a player who has had extensive shadow tank experience and also temple experience for more perspective on that.
