Pride Month Raffle!

To celebrate Pride Month, I'm giving away a max stat Ryori! It's a shame I don't have any pride-themed designs available right now, but the winner can choose a pet from one of these projects. The offspring will be infertile.

Cosmic Whimsy --- Cosmic Royalty

Gilded Pomegranate --- Rose Bride

Everyone gets up to four entries, which can be claimed by:

- Making a post in this thread
- Designing a pet inspired by a pride flag
- Designing an avatar outfit inspired by a pride flag
- Sharing a little anecdote about your experiences being LGBT, or the experiences of a friend if you're not LGBT yourself. Please try to keep it positive.*

Raffle is now closed! The winner will be chosen using RNG.

*I don't think it's fair for me to ask people to post about themselves without including something about myself... so an experience I'd like to share is that several of my closest friends throughout high school came out as bisexual recently. I'm also bi and didn't tell anyone until long after graduation, so I think it's special we all had that connection even if we weren't aware of it :)

What a great raffle! Count me in.

My LGBTQ+ tidbit: My parents are all queer, and they all were best friends from high school. They left the midwest and moved to San Francisco. They all wanted a kid, but hadnt wanted to raise one alone. Eventually a conversation happened. Then I happened! :)

Here is my Asexual Lighira. Kind of want to actually make this one up. :)

And my rainbow Pride outfit!

Is the design a pet making a whole new species or just a Sylesti?

Designing a pet means heading over to the Generator and choosing traits and colors for a Sylesti. You don't actually generate the pet, you'll just include the image in a post as shown in this guide. :)

Happy pride month! I previously considered myself genderqueer but I've been thinking about nonbinary instead. Either way I use any pronouns.

Nonbinary Aeridini

Nonbinary avatar

As a kid I used to be quite feminine. I loved pink and purple, I loved dresses and skirts, and overall I liked being a girl. But when I started to grow into a woman, I found myself having gender dysphoria. I stopped liking being perceived as a woman because it no longer aligned with how I viewed myself. I now enjoy androgyny, and I get gender envy from androgynous people.

On another note, I saw Mother Mother and Cavetown yesterday and it was awesome! It felt great being around other LGBTQ+ people in pride month and some people brought their pride flags. ^^

Posting here with some stuff about one of my classmates because right now I am a confused teenager who has never really thought about anything save the fact that maybe someday I might get married if I find the right person and that I don't really care what gender they end up being and that I don't want to listen to my classmates talking about sex but have no clue if I might ever want to try it someday
about the only things I could tell you for certain about my identity is that I'm female, autistic and ADHD

So my anactdote is that I didn't actually realise that my classmate/friend Taylor was non-binary until an assembly a couple of months ago that had stuff along the lines of they've done blah
I just never really noticed it , I picked up on the fact that they wanted to be called Taylor without actually being told but it was just one of those things , Amelia can be annoying, Bethany has ridiculously curly hair and its Taylor ---- not Laura . I'm honestly not sure if thats my autism meaning I made note of the thing that was pertinent to our interactions , they're name is Taylor, and disregarded the rest (seeing as I prefer using names when there's more than one person involved for the sake of clarity and we aren't close enough to have really any one-on-one on conversations ) because they were the same person as they ever were and it's not like its any of my business or me being an unobserveant 12 year old who had not yet picked up a fanfiction habit .I love my parents but I've definitely learnt more details about lgbt stuff from fanfic than them (I read 10s of thousands of fics , if its regular occurrence in multiple fandoms its pretty safe to assume its based on real life ) , the extent of what they told me was that people are people no matter what and even if you don't understand there choices you need to respect them and that they didn't care if I brought home a boyfriend or a girlfriend so long as we cared about each other and extrapolating that myself I have come to the conclusion that people in the news are making a fuss over nothing and that their are only two good reasons for caring about someone else's genitals 1. You are having or might be having sex with them 2. You are a medical professional and need to know for the sake of your patients heath . Anything else is slightly creepy . I mean people go off on people who talk about other peoples private parts but just because there trans it's alright for it to go all over the news and social media?
People are morons. Can you tell this was written at half 3 in the morning? Because if so I might try and tidy it up a bit when I wake up

Posting some experiences:

When I was younger I used to have attraction to both boys and girls, though no romantic attraction, but then I was bullied for being bi and then I started becoming ace. I also used to be hypermasculine as a teen because I've been bullied for my transness and whenever I get an attraction to guys, until I've moved places and watched Mozart L'opera Rock. After that, at 15 I started to wear nail polish and eyeliner, then I started to grow my hair out but with an undercut and now in college, I've been wearing black eyeliner, black eyeshadow, black lipstick, black dresses, black heel boots, black chokers and spiked collars. I went from a hypermasculine mall goth emo trans teen to an androgynous goth and emo trans adult.

There's also a time I had the same crush on a boy as my bff and I wanted her, our crush and I to share the same home one day when we grow up. It took me years to realize that was a sign I was polyam XD

Nonbinary Kelpari :D

I spent a very long time trying to discern my gender identity throughout the years - But I've never felt cisgender. It just took me a little while to find the right word to describe myself.
When I was fairly young I thought I might be a demi-girl, after that I was Genderfluid for a little while - I experimented with different names and pronouns for many years. Eventually I decided that nonbinary fit me best because I feel like I have a gender, just no clue what it is lol.

I also find it really funny that people who don't know they're LGBTQ+ just kind of flock together - It's so silly to me that everyone just knows how to find each other. :D

This is my pride Avatar. :D
