I have a few sets of first generation themed pets and am interesting in starting a max stats project! I know this takes a lot of items, time, and space, and am looking for advice.

My main question is whether or not a max stats project is even doable without diamonds. It's my understanding that because of the amount of space and prismatic philters required, diamonds tend to expedite things, however I'm not particularly willing to spend money on the project just because it's not exactly a wise decision as a college student.

Is it worth trying out anyway? Are there any other particularly reliable ways to get prismatic philters, or would I only really be able to use ones for individual stats?

I don't intend to try to do more than one or two, if that helps at all :> any feedback or advice is appreciated!!

A max stat project is definitely doable without diamonds, but it may take more time.

- If possible, pick a theme that you can make during a fest. Then make sure to use the items to boost them while being made and tend to them so they get the extra stat boost. The upside is you'll get pets with much higher starting stats. The downside is that you'll be limited on traits.

- Breed for traits first and then do the stat boosting with philters. That way you use 4 prismas per generation and you can plan on exactly how many you'll need. It will give you time to stalk the player trades for prismas and gender swappers.

- Try and make use of fests and all the crazy nurturing that occurs during them. If possible, nurture boost.

-Remember that nurture boosting does the regular stats first, the hp once all of the regulars are 100, and lastly mana once everything else is maxed. Depending on where your pet traits are, you might want to use mana philters rather than prismas.

Whatever project you decide to go for, make sure you love it. You are going to be staring at those buggers for a long time. :-P

Examples:
Spring storm Aurleons starting stats: 200, 80, 16 (hp, mana, lowest reg stat). Took 10 generations to max. This was 38 prismas and 7 gender swappers.

Blooming Iris starting stats: 1000, 120, 70. Took 5 generations to max. This was 18 prismas and 4 gender swappers.

I see! I'll need to look for more forums on breeding for traits, it seems more complicated than stat breeding and I don't have a particularly good grasp of genetics. Thanks for your input!!
