Maintenance has completed.

Hello, all.

I just received notice from our Host that they are migrating our server (physically) to a new datacenter on Tuesday, August 27th. Here is what I was told:

What is happening?
On August 27th your server is scheduled for a physical relocation to our new state-of-the-art data center facility, part of the NTT Global Data Centers. The move will take place overnight, beginning at 8:00 PM CST and should be completed by 1:00AM CST.

Rest assured, our team is making every effort to minimize disruption to your service. And your server will be closely monitored throughout the transition until connectivity is fully restored.

Why is this happening?
InMotion Hosting is committed to continuously enhancing our customers' experience. Our new, modern data center will improve your server's performance and your overall business operations. This facility offers numerous benefits, including faster uplink speeds, advanced network switches, newer power distribution units (PDUs), superior reliability, and other world-class improvements designed to provide you with an optimal hosting environment.

What can I expect?
During the move, you can expect approximately 2-4 hours of downtime. We expect that most customers will experience less downtime than anticipated.


So, there you have it. At 8 PM on August 27th, I will safely take our site offline to ensure we don't experience any potential data issues. As soon as our Host informs me that our server has been successfully migrated, the site will be back up. Obviously, I will have 0 control over this downtime, so we can all just hope for the best.

I will keep everyone up to date on our Discord channel during the process.

Nothing will be reset! The server is just being moved so it performs better, basically.

Yes. There will be no affect on anybody's accounts. Sylestia just won't be available for a few hours while this migration takes place.

I took the day off work so I could do my breedings that day, the down time is at a very bad time for me!

oh good thnx u krin I'm glad my pets be ok at least I still haven't gotten aged shrimp puffadore catalyst seed yet still no luck on it sadly

Just a reminder that Sylestia will be offline for up to ~5 hours tonight for scheduled maintenance.

This is maintenance 100% out of my control, so I can't really provide anymore information than what's posted above. Hopefully, it will be on the short side of the window.
