I'll assume that you're leveling the third one for them?

I'd say, no, that's not typically the kind of party order you really want on a team.

Slot 1 is the Tank slot, where enemies aim the most. Typically Earth, Shadow, or Water, sometimes Light (unless party in question is a festival battle board team, but those are a different matter since that's not what this is).
These elements are assortedly more focused on drawing attacks to themselves, defense/blocking damage, healing themselves. Less focus on attack (still some, but not as much as the other party positions by far), much less need for dex's accuracy and crits, so they can put points to agility and HP.
Assassin equipment on water or earth tank, illusionist on shadow or light tank

Healer/Buffer is Light or water, I personally keep them in slot 2. Most people go with light healer. Usually full offence at first to get the most healing done, secondary stat varies by player preference
Illusionist or Evoker on light, Assassin or myrmidon on water

Air and Fire are both Attacker elements, with no self-healing outside of mend (though air gets a little ability to self-heal at lv75), and a lot on crits for inflicting debuffs and generally dealing damage. They generally want all their points going into offense and dexterity
Myrmidon on air, Evoker on fire

(You can of course run water/2xAttacker, perfectly valid team setup. That was what I ran with back when I was doing regions 1 and 2, although the entire proficiency system and all the attacks have been revamped since then. Just gotta pay attention to when you need to put Ice Barrier onto one of the attackers to heal/guard them)

At lv25+, you want lv25 legendary gear tier equips at a minimum generally (outweighs most sub-lv50 gear- aside from higher level legendary gear- up to lv40epic)
lv25 leg gear is pretty easy to get since it drops from lv25 very hard mission satchels, so it's usually pretty plentiful from the broker

Fire and Air aren't the same, since fire's focused on spread/multi-target damage while air's focused on single-target damage

As we said, slot 1 is where the Tank goes, slots 2 and 3 can be any of healer/buffer/attacker, but what goes where will depend on player preference.
Enemies preferentially target slot 1 most, then 2, then 3.

Continuing with Water/Fire/Air is viable, but swapping something is also viable (either having water as Buffer and swapping an attacker to a Tank element and putting them in slot 1, or having water as tank in slot 1 and swapping an attacker to light healer)

(In terms of progression, I'd say W/F/A is viable though not necessarily the easiest to use up to the start of the lost grove, and then becomes pretty difficult in lost grove early on when the pets have no ranks in their attacks yet and may be low level compared to lg enemies, then becomes one of the most highly viable setups on a team that's lv75 and had the pets' attacks ranked up)

(Also, Robinhoodlol, if you want to ping people then you want to either hit the @ button at the bottom of their post rather than the quote post button, or add their name to the Ping Users box when typing a post)
