Welcome to the Official (Unofficial, but maybe official?) Birthday Archive and Gift Giving Thread!!
(Expect changes to be made to this thread as the idea takes root)

So I have been *inspired* by the number of fall birthdays recently. Specifically Leen's birthday, as that is when and why this thread is being created <3

As I have been on Sylestia a while now, I have really gotten to see the generosity that this amazing community shares together. Growing up, birthdays just weren't a huge thing for me - I never really had sophisticated parties during my childhood, although they always were a blast to attend for friends! As I have gotten older, and life has gotten less exciting and fun than it seemed when I was young, I have started to really appreciate the meaning of a birthday and the significance of feeling celebrated during that time. While it may seem like I was "missing out" when I was younger, I have tended to take it more in stride by savoring the happiness that comes from celebrating someone else on their birthday. Overall, making others feel special on their birthdays is really important to me and I strongly believe that many people share my sentiment.

And with that, I have a proposition for everyone here:

Let's make life fun and take some time to come together! After all, we are already playing this game to seek enjoyment, why not help others on that journey too, one birthday at a time?

So it will work like this:
-Comment your birthday down below, it should be your *real* birthday (because why would you want to lie about that?) but I am not going to check or anything lol.

-Please list your birthday in month/day format (NOT including the year, for obvious privacy reasons)

-PLEASE PING ME -otherwise I might not see your post :(

-I will make an archive on the next post with people's user ID, birthday date (again, in month/day format), and current username at the time of commenting

-Please also comment what is on your Sylestia "wishlist" for other players to see, as I (and others) will send out a gift to you then, and knowing what pets you like, items, avi items, etc. that you want will make our job easier (and hopefully make you happier, as you will be getting something you want!)

-Make your wishlist appear on the SAME post as your birthday post, that way I can link it to your archived Bday for easy access!!

-You can also let me know if you would like to be added to a ping list of this archive of player's birthdays, so that you can either wish them happy birthday, give a gift, or do something nice for them on that day :)

*I strongly recommend that if you comment your B-day wishlist, that you also sign up to be on the ping list so that you aren't only receiving gifts, but giving a little something too (if you can :D)*

I will go first:

My birthday is September 8th (09/08), and in terms of gifts, I honestly appreciate anything and everything more than you can imagine! It truly is the thought that counts.

If that doesn't narrow it down for you, (lol), Qitaris are my all-time favorite sylesti! They are followed by Bulboris with butterfly wings (link to that thread). I also love certain avi items (such as the wanted ones on this thread), and any items like a spare pie or prisma go so far to help my breeding projects that I have really started to ramp up!

And of course, I will be pinged as a gift-giver :)

Id like to give gifts, as long as its pets since I dont have many items
I'd like to receive tagged themed Luporas and Griffis, but if you have items then I would prefer Prismatic Philters, Mana Philters, or Greater Dyes :)

It's really a great idea starlight. It can help the ones who don't celebrate their birthday so I will gladly be on the pinglist ^^

As for my birthday it's on the 16th november, 11/16.

I think for the gifts I'm more fond of the thoughts than the gift in itself so I'm okay with everything.
For the sylesti I just don't like draeyl, ny'vene, nytekri and vulnix.

This has been the friendliest and most welcoming communities I've ever been part of for games of this type and I wish I had discovered it sooner. I hope I could take part in gifting Sylesties if nothing else, and would like to be added to the ping list and Birthday Archive.

My birthday is October 20 (10/20)
Halloween is my favorite Holiday if people want to gift avi items
For Sylesties, my faves are: Lupora, Qitari, Faelora, Draeyl, Nephini, Ny'vene, Sylvorpa and Aerdini
For other items, whatever people want to gift. I know some things can be expensive (cost dia, for example) so I really won't be too demanding.

Its nice to remember with others when you are on your own my b-day is 11/19 November 19th <3
