I want to make a Sylesti(any breed) best representing music and notes on a page, like this picture:
All of them are black and white only and include Lucky Runes.
Here are my designs so far:
NOTE: THEY ARE ALL 4 VISIBLE DESIGNS
Aeridini
Lighira
Nephini
Nytekrie
(I'm leaning towards this one)
Ny'Vene
Ryori
Vulnyx
I need opinions! I am only doing one species and one design! I would also love to see corrections of my designs or all new designs :D

I would have to say go with the aerdini...but I am rather obsessed with them, so...heh. XD

I know how you love them, so I'd love your opinion on the design. Do you think a different trait would look better?

I'd go for the Aeri as well. Only I'd use coral snake and webbed wings:
It looks like the bars of the music. :)

I would have to say the Ryori, Ny'Vene, Lighira, or Aeridini.

Out of all of them I'd have to say the Aeridini looks the best. The others seem clustered... Of course some music sheets are rather clustered... XD

I love your aeri design as is, but I like this one as well.
Going with the musical theme, kaiju reminds me somewhat of whole notes. And the larger area of black created by the tiger swallow wings reminds me a bit of the clef signs.

Personally, I think you should go with either the Ryori or the Lighira; they remind me the most of music. The Ryori, especially.
The aeridini are pretty, but they more remand me of black and white upholstery - elegant and flowery, but not mucial.
The Nytekrie and Vulnxy are too cluttered to really be music like.
The Ny'vene are just sort of boring in black and white.
The Nephini are nice enough, but they don't really inspire the sense of music for me.
And that's basically my two cents. Feel free to ignore me if you don't agree. ^^
