before anyone asks - homestuck is a webcomic told through video game mechanics. it's in a format similar to text adventure games. just keep clicking the blue links at the bottom of the image and open up the pesterlog buttons, you'll figure it out. you might have seen some weird grey aliens around on the internet - forget about them. you may have heard about lots of really weird romance and epic plots to save the universe - it's not important right now. all you need to know to start reading homestuck is that at its heart it's a comedy about a kid dinking around with weird video game stuff and having fun with his friends online, it starts off slow in the beginning but picks up the pace around act 2, the art does get better, ****** really starts to hit the fan at act 5, and the music is REALLY REALLY GREAT.

I am just really excited about Vriska realizing that John isn't always going to forgive her. and I'm also SUPER EXCITED ABOUT JOHN FINALLY BECOMING RELEVANT TO THE PLOT AGAIN. it's about time you dork.

and aradia is being deliciously creepy like I knew she always was. she really hasn't changed that much since she was a robot and destroying things for the hell of it, has she. she's just a lot more cheerful about it.

and what do you want to bet the treasure is something that will kill off the remaining ghosts? whose memory is this? do you think the ring could be used to resurrect Calliope?

why resurrect when you can cut straight to the point and find the dominant Calliope??

but anyways, I liked Aradia when she was actually sane and classy, but again, nothing really amazes me lol. Almost thought you meant Aranea, and I was like...'since when is aranea weird?? i like her :c'

speaking of Aranea, haven't you been getting creeped out by how much she's been corrupted by Vriska? my bet is that she's gonna get killed off before she can realize how far she's fallen, as a contrast to Vriska's current character arc. Aranea started out paying attention to her morals and doing the best she could to do as well as she could, and now she's reveling in explaining the end justifies the means for why she's helping kill off all her former friends. I'm pretty sure that Vriska is going to redeem herself soon, especially after being abandoned by all the people she felt a small amount of attachment to.

Aranea imo is kinda going along with it -- always thought she was an open-minded sort of fellow. All in the name of defeatin' Lord English, and it's an adventure, etc etc. Sides, they're all dead, why not? (if I was godtier and had nothing to lose from an eternity of death in a dream bubble, I would go on an adventure too)

Vriska just is being headstrong, as per usual. She screams adventure and progressive lets-beat-bosses-down-and-sail-captain-hook-style. That's how I see her. I can't understand deep contexts, since I don't read that deep into homestuck, in fact I don't even know how John really feels about her other than oblivious (almost all dudes in HS seem to be oblivious, but maybe cuz I skim at the speed of light through the story).

Anyways, concerning the recent update;

I thought Jade being taken over by the Condesce would be evils and stuffs. Why'd she transport everyone onto the planet? Maybe she had a brief change of heart?

I find it pretty interesting that Jade is under regular mind control, rather than a combo of the condesce's serket powers making her human half falling asleep and the nitram powers bringing the bec half to heel. I... am just not sure in general what exactly is going on there. pretty sure Jade's still thoroughly under the condesce's control, or else she would have zapped herself to lomax with everyone else. also, I guess this means John's been awake for at least a couple of hours. he was asleep when Jade first appeared and went grimbark, cause he didn't notice the session had already been crashed, but he must have woken up sometime between then and when Jade transported the meteor guys to lomax. also, why didn't she bring Gamzee along with them? is she gonna bring him back to the condesce herself? is it actually relevant that the house of cards was shown to be connected to the sburb symbol? was John playing regular solitaire or spider solitaire???
