So, I was exploring then encountured a battle. I saw that the Sylesti that i was battling was uncommon, so i clicked on trap to try to catch it. It failed D: but thats not what I'm here to talk about. Do you think you should try to capture uncommons if you only have one trap?

The sad fact is, unless it is a masterful snare trap, failure is always a possibility, regardless of the strength of the trap or rarity of a sylesti. Because of this, I always make sure I have a nice collection of traps just in case so I am never left in that situation. That being said, if you find yourself in that situation, I say go for it if you really want that sylesti. You never know, after all.
